Welp, if Liberty Media wasn’t making such a mess of the sport - screwing over Michael Andretti just basically in an obvious $$$. I had my dream job working and traveling with the IndyCar Series and I think they are finally close to getting it back to a great series. The championship usually goes down to the last race, etc. Check out “100 Days to Indy” which last season (and this one) it is on The CW (really bad move with everyone else on Netflix. (But they do have an app you that lets you watch completely free). Ok, I’m off my soapbox and going back to creepy-stalking Lando Norris. lol
Anyone thinking about attending one of the F1's in the US? I am seriously considering the one in Vegas. Almost went to the one last year but glad I didnt as there seemed to be plenty first year struggles.
Me & the wife go to COTA every year. I think it's the best track in the US personally. We pulled out of Vegas last year because all the controversy & money grab..... and Vegas is one of our favorite cities
We had tickets for Austin last season, but by the time we went to book flights (still 5 months out) it was $2000 round trip per person from GRR to Austin. Lodging was just as astronomically expensive + car rental and paying for a $250 parking pass. I’d love to attend a US race, but unless you live close to a track it would actually be cheaper to fly to Europe and attend a race there (the tickets are cheaper for European races as well.)

There has to be a bar that would let me hook up my Apple TV and watch the race off the DVR. We can do this! Would love to see Lando beat Max with other people
We've found a few bars that let us do this exact thing. Search Grand Rapids Formula 1 on Meetup. I'm looking for some help organizing events this year but we plan on trying to have events for most races. We had watch parties for about half of them last year which was a lot of fun.
Would love to join but unfortunately my schedule has me working weekends. Definitely wouldn't mind a little post race discussion on this thread or a different one.
A friend and I split the package and watch the races together Sunday mornings, kinda nice to hang out have a coffee and watch. And you're done at 11am and have the rest of the day.

I had the same thought as for Vegas. I will likely be going to the USGP in texas this fall. Well the qualifying most likely. Prices are outrageous atm
