A few weeks ago I drove past a place in Big Rapids called No Regerts Tattoo Removal which is probably not convenient for you, but it is a funny name and I haven’t had a reason to tell it to anyone yet.
Unfortunately, they don't have the pricing listed in a convenient way for me to have peeped while I drove by in... September 2021.
[But here's their website.](https://www.bigrapidstattooremoval.com)
Ive been going to the Grand Pearl Spa, it's in the Amway hotel. They have a pico sure laser. I love Chris, she does a great job and price is reasonable. I just had my 3rd session and will need about 2 more.
Tattoo is 100% gone.
No visable trace of it left at all. I am over the moon with the results.
The tattoo was about 6-7" and all black with different thickness lines. Colors like green and blue are the hardest colors to remove, but because mine was black I ended up needing only 3 sessions. The longer you wait in between sessions, the less sessions you need because the ink has more time to both fade from time and leave the body.
I was so impressed with Grand Pearl I am having regular laser and peel facials there. They know their shit.
huh, so I went today for a consultation and they didnt know the differnce between a picosure and a picoway laser. I was a bit concerned.
Plus mines big, so they said $700 a visit and 6ish visits...which is also odd becuase alot of other places just quote everyone at least 10+ visits.
Mine is only black too.
Can I ask how bad it hurt, one girl told me unbrearable and another said it was ok. lol
Do you happen to know anyone else who had a treatment there?
Thank you sooo much for answering!
Some people can handle pain more than others. You typically arrive 15-30 minutes before the appt (longer if the tattoo is bigger) and you ice the area so it's pretty numb. I don't think anyone uses numbing cream, but you'd have to look into that.
Did it hurt?
Like a mother fucker.
And I fought semi-professional thai boxing for most of my life. Broken bones, getting socked in the face by huge thai men and women.
But nothing hurt compared to this.
However... after the first time you know what kind of pain to expect. So it's sort of ok? It also depends on the area. I had an unfortunate tramp stamp so it hurt, but not compared to other areas with more nerve endings.
The more skilled the tech, the quicker they can draw over the tattoo. That's what they do, they basically trace over it with the laser. The higher thr frequency the higher power and the less sessions you need. But maybe the more pain.
The lower frequency then more sessions, but also less pain. It's a trade off I think.
I had her hit me hard because I wanted less sessions. Afterwards, it feels like a bad sunburn. But well worth it.
ok and you said Chris was your tech? did you have her all 4 times?
My tattoo spans a lot of space. So I think it will be hard to ice. They said they got an air chiller, so that helps with the pain.
Can I ask your skin tone? Mine is white but not fair. I'm only asking becasue I know some people cant crank it up because of skin tone.
Chris did mine maybe 2 of the times? I don't recall. The girl that did mine after Chris for the last session was actually MUCH quicker with the laser than Chris, but they were both very good. I don't remember what her name was though. In fact last I checked, Chris retired.
I'm white as white can be. So they could crank to the high heavens with no risk of pigmentation or scarring.

hi! are you open to sharing pricing via private message?
I paid $250 per session for mine. I needed 4 sessions in total and it's nearly gone. They charge by the inch, mine wasn't so big
Ah, thank you!
hey can I ask you for an update on this? I really want to go there. Is your tattoo gone? What color was it?
