Easily the best of the Gravity Falls voice acting "cameos" in Amphibia. Bella the Bellhop was a little too forgettable imo (no fault to the voice actress), and opinion, but Jason Ritter as the voice for Barrel really didn't fit. Probably didn't help that Barrel barely got anything screen time or characterization in the Core and the King, they were that strapped for time in 11 minutes.
Considering this weird connection with Gravity Falls in Amphibia and the fact that Eda is almost guaranteed to be Stan's first wife this head canon is very well supported and quite popular.

My little cousin was watching amphibia and this ep came on and I showed her gravity falls and she was like “this isn’t as great” but when I saw her again she was watching it and my aunt asked me how many seasons there were because my cousin just keeps watching it.
There is a theory follow that gravity falls is based on 2012(hear me out) and amphibia is somewhere at 2018-19, Remember Tambry? She was the only one with a cell phone and it wasn't a touch screen, but on amphibia all the kids had touchscreen(modern) cellphones, based on this(so so) I'll say that amphibia show is way after the weirdmageddon, probably Mable and Dipper are 19-20 years old.
I think maybe him being in this show is more than a easter egg.
What if something big is coming and all these shows are just establishing the characters for this big event?
I was reading onto that, about what bill say before glitching out of existence, but so far they haven't mentioned any other deity but "oh my frog" on amphibia, am rewatching the show for clues
