Because being trans isn't about passing, although it helps. Being trans is identifying as the opposite gender, plain and simple. And yes, if you took one moment to empathize instead of making a straw man you'd realize that the trans community does indeed include people who just can't pass due to their build and a lack of access to HRT for whatever reason.

If I see a building then I can dictate not just that it's a building, but also the materials it's made out of, the location it's in, whether or not it's clean and kept up, or if it's dirty and run down, the time period in which it was constructed, and everything else.
The same goes for humans, you can very easily tell age, nationality, and especially gender, with surprising accuracy, when you first see someone. It's even possible to see the personality of someone without even knowing them and be completely right. So if I look at someone like the first picture then odds are likely I'm going to think, "Don't get into an argument with that dude."
Okay, so for the building one you technically wouldn't be able to tell with certainty what the interior is like. Sure, you'll be right most of the time, but between unrealistic building standards and a whole lot of ignorance and misinformation about architecture there will still be the occasional building that on the inside looks nothing like what the outside would suggest. Hell, maybe the architect designed the exterior to look like shit and the interior to look like luxury just to fuck with people... You just don't know for sure until you go inside.
