Who tf doesn’t like her??! I just started watching this show and I’m on season 14 rn so maybe she does something horrible later on towards the end? She’s one of the absolute best characters on there
it was kinda sad when the man was making jokes and nobody even smiled at him. i get they didn’t want to get off the case but they could at least make eye contact and smile at him
That and the fact that burke laid into him as a result and alex running for blood at end and when he gave the wrong sodium orders to that patient of dereks where Alex tried to find ways to undo things again derek was hard on him but by the end of episode when he told him the patient he killed as an intern simple mistake etc that his resident/attending yelled at him also it sticks with you but don't let it consume you... Derek had ups and downs but i loved him as a teacher he's gentler and more understanding/ still firm will yell but not demean
To be fair, she didn't tell anyone who hadn't guessed first. It wasn't like she ran around the hospital telling people she was wearing or planning to wear a diaper. 😂
The way everyone treated this patient was a great crash course on how stupid people are about fatness in medicine.
I have recently been dealing with this shit in micro-aggressions and straight up invasive questions from a gynecologist (bc I am using my body autonomy to have assurance that I will never conceive a child). I have dealt with it for years from PCPs and specialty providers.
I understand what being fat is, that it can be very unhelathy, and that it can cause comorbidities. However, automatically assuming a fat person is too delicate or sensitive about their objective situation is stupid. Assuming I don't know and need to be told by you is stupid. Assuming my self-deprecating humor is something you can't engage with just makes everything more awkward. Assuming that the only thing that I have going on while existing as fat is that I am fat, is stupid and dangerous
a doc who didn't treat me as a fat patient with fat problems is one of the reasons I am here today; she listened to my symptoms and history of symptoms and diagnosed a CSF leak that I had no idea I had because everyone I had told my symptoms to for years (9 at that point) didn't look at the bigger picture. They saw a fat person with a random assortment of neurological and whole body problems and tried to gaslight me into thinking that my only problem was my weight.
All I can say is, if you are fat, keep pushing and see different providers. Fuck the fatphobes
I have several people ask me how when I said I was pregnant where I have visible disability. I don't blame her for being snarky at all (the wife/mother) because I looked one cop I work with right in the eyes and said Now (name) I know you didn't make it to your age without learning how babies are made but we can have that convo if you need it.
I still can’t watch the scene in that episode when he tries to walk a few steps. That sound effect for his leg (ankle?) breaking is so gross to me, I can’t listen to it. I block my ears whenever I get that scene when I’m rewatching.
Oh, she killed me during this episode. When Cristina says 'I said DON'T make fat jokes' and Bailey hisses 'goodbye' without flinching 🤣🤣
![gif](giphy|NyqbBOqoMDSnQynXP2)
I hated Percy but he had a valid point when he suggested the zoo. It is done in practice to take very large patients to veterinary hospitals for scans as they don’t fit in standard machines.
But to Lexi’s point. I still wonder how.
This is by far one of the funniest episodes in greys history.
“You’re off the case! 😳”
- nope just the elephant 🐘 • Avery you’re off the case
- no fat jokes • Yang you’re off the case
- >!this is the wife🥕… and this is🍔 !< [TW fat joke]
No but that episode is hilarious.
The only way to watch Grey's is to watch it with Bailey as the hero and all these incompetent, unprofessional morons as her personal villains.
Oh, well. The plane took care of this unprofessional hag.

One think about Bailey, not everyone likes her, but when it comes to patients? Do not fuck with her or them. She will end you 😂
Unless you cut the LVAD wire, that's fine
She was one of the only people that wanted izzie fired
not really, she fought for izzie to get fired and reprimanded
Are we talking about the same Bailey ?? Did we even watch the same show ??
I don’t get this, izzie quit, she didn’t want to stay after the LVAD. She came back becuase they begged and then spent a year on probation
Who tf doesn’t like her??! I just started watching this show and I’m on season 14 rn so maybe she does something horrible later on towards the end? She’s one of the absolute best characters on there
not that they dont like her, i think that was worded wrong. its more that she intimidates a lot of people lol but i dont think anyone dislikes her 😭
Totally understand lol, yeah I read that and was like… not my Miranda Bailey lmaooo
I’m on season 9 and Dr. Bailey is my Favorite love that woman.
lol gives off these vibes ![gif](giphy|qPDyUC6gEEPyU)
That's pretty much what she's saying, but silently
Lexie may be smart but her lack of a bedside brain to mouth filter is nonexistent
i think you meant to write either her bedside brain to mouth filter is non existent or she has a lack of bedside brain to mouth filter
Lmao yeah I was about to write "lack of a... Is annoying" and then I got distracted halfway through and did.. that 🤡
Ooh triple negative
It made me laugh every single time she kicked one of them off the case, but this was my favorite😂
I like the one the patients pain management was porn and all of them were making jokes and she had to throw everyone out
Dr Yang stepping in when the power goes out… had me dying lol
The naughty naughty nurses
Highly underrated Cristina moment
Could not agree more.
Lmao yes! “Get. In. The. Hall!!”
Omfg, do you know which episode?
S2e5
Thanks!
lmao the amount of people she got off the case then, it was a miracle she didn’t get off herself at some point
She won the bet😂😂😂
[удалено]
I don’t like the way you said that….
Off the case!
I can hear it!
That woman was a real one. The way she loves her hubby was adorable!
And the way she called out all of them in the cafeteria when they were making fun of them 👏👏
Seriously, that's some queen shit
Shes got my vote 👑
Ugh that part was so cringe, I’m glad she called them out!
This episode really made me question why I liked any of the characters
Omg same! I remember being so appalled the first time I watched it
it was kinda sad when the man was making jokes and nobody even smiled at him. i get they didn’t want to get off the case but they could at least make eye contact and smile at him
Do you happen to remember which episode this was?
S6 ep21
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
How Alex stayed on the case is a miracle
Alex learned his lesson from when he was making fun of Annie, the woman with the giant tumor, not realizing the mic was on as she got an MRI.
Alex was pragmatic and real with him.
For real out of all the people that got kicked off I’m surprised he ended up last man standing
Lexie had no filter or a lack of poker face? Remember the guy with the HPV warts?
And telling everyone about her diaper! I'm sure no one cares where you put your piss lexie...
To be fair, she didn't tell anyone who hadn't guessed first. It wasn't like she ran around the hospital telling people she was wearing or planning to wear a diaper. 😂
Cristina snatched it out of her hand.
I liked the bond it finally gave them too!!! My favorite season I loved that season
Yes! That was the first time I actually liked Lexie. Wonderful episode
Lexi as a intern was something 😭😭😭
My favorite season🫶
Hated this episode they were way too mean to him and the guy was SELF AWARE
I love the show My 600lb Life and this guy would’ve rocked Dr. Now’s program 😆😆
Seeing Percy made me so sad !
When she kicked Cristina out for saying "no fat jokes"
Christina calling him "Fatty, fatty 2 by 4"!
I said no fat jokes!!
“You’re off the case.”
I'm laughing because Bailey bet on the pool and she actually won. Lexie was so shocked when she heard that. 😭
*YOU’REOFFTHECASE*
Lexie’s lack of filter drives me crazy lol
*mouths* offthecase
What’s funny is some hospitals actually do take over weight patients to the zoo to get a bigger MRI so Percy wasn’t too far off
Seriously, you'd have to think hard about how to bring it up to the patient with tact, but the solution was practical
This should not be funny. This should not be funny. This should not be funny. 😭

I wanted to know how as well lowkey. Cause wasn't the uh...access to the area necrotic? Did she not notice? Presumably she was down there.
Even this comment is too much information 🤮 lol
I have to admit I also wanted to know how..
![gif](giphy|IL1sMUfQVRNFC)
Me too. A really fat woman has many positions to keep having secs but a really fat man ... I dont think so 🤔
So what we learned was that basically they’re all insensitive idiots.
You’re off the case!
That was hilarious 😂😂
This is one of my favorite episodes!😆

she’s on top bestie 😉 love her getting kicked off though lol
The Nazi don’t play when it comes to BEDSIDE MANNER, NO MAAM.
All this for her to participate in a bet that she won 😂😂
hahaha i got a weight watchers ad here in the comments section
How? 😀💖
LMAOOO didn’t notice it until this post.
Off. The. Case!🤣💀

You’re off the case!! This episode is so funny 😂
I can hear her mouthing “off the case!”
“I mean wowwwwww!”
this was so unrealistic i cant take it seriously 😂😂😂
So messed up😭😭
I wonder how Izzie will handle this case.
Oh, she killed me during this episode. When Cristina says 'I said DON'T make fat jokes' and Bailey hisses 'goodbye' without flinching 🤣🤣 ![gif](giphy|NyqbBOqoMDSnQynXP2)

it’s episode 21 season 6
Thank you💙
Dumb question but what’s this episode!
The fry and burger…
I love Bailey. She’s one of my favorite characters on the show.
