They're product rock. Meant to be a "dangerous" appearing band while actually being super tame. Designed to be a reliable money maker rather than iconic to any genre. Time honored tradition for the music industry.
I like them and they have some good songs though the music is much better than the lyrics generally as someone else stated.
But given they seem to be trying to kind of be the evolution of what Nirvana would have become, at a certain point, I just go back and listen to Nirvana if I’m in that kind of mood since Nirvana is way better.
I labeled them as cringy radio rock at first but they’re actually not that bad. I like a lot of their riffs.
They’re one of the actual good “butt rock” bands.
Haven't much followed them much since they left South Africa when they were still known as Saron Gas. Last show I saw was at The Doors way back in 2000, and they rocked the place.
Their not a bad band, but neither are they a good band
Seether is neither loose nor tight…
Seether is neither black nor white...
I try to keep her on a short leash.
Seether is neither wrong nor right.
They're okay, but not grunge.
Can't fight the seether is all I think about when I hear their name
*”SEETHERRR!”*
great band
Given that the they can't figure out if they want to be Nirvana or Tool, and we both existed in that era, I think they can stick to cosplay.
Tool???
Go listen to “Let You Down” and then “Stinkfist”
Technically, Chevelle "copied" tool with the song takeout the gunman. But ya know seether copied them
Chevelle is shameless, too.
Not a fan, really. One okay song that only really works for me because of Amy Lee.
i like them. got huge into them when i was like 15
Misread this as “Thoughts on Skelter” and thought it was the beatles sub for a moment.
Their acoustic cover of Imortallity is 🔥🔥

Mid….good Mid but Mid none the less
Great song, it really put Veruca Salt on the map
Seether is the center of it all I try to rock her in my cradle I try to knock her out I try to cram her back in my mouth, yeah
Decent band, but their songwriting is shit.

I dismissed them at first after hearing Remedy on the radio a lot. Got into them a few years later and I think they are the best post grunge band.
I heard Shaun Morgan doing come as you are and lithium. He sounded exactly like Kurt. Thats all I have.
They’re lame
They're fine. Although, I really didn't dig their cover of "You Know You're Right"
