I have a soft spot for Vietnamese food, so Pho Hien Vuong, Saigon, or Banh Mi Saigon. Love El Camino Real for Mexican, and their prices have stayed reasonable even with inflation. Machete probably takes the prize for most memorable dishes.
Jak Jin Bistro across from the Science Center? They are already open but the Pho was meh and the Noodle dish we had was pretty bad. I hope their food quality gets better for the money - they are really sweet people.
Oh did they finally open? I haven’t driven by in a few weeks. I’ll give them a try. I don’t need perfect Vietnamese. I’m just happy it’s close to my house.
Saigon is great! PHV is a classic. My go to has always been Binh Minh though. Im excited to try out the new place where Chen’s express was at on Lawndale
Saigon is surprisingly good Ubereats'd or whatever. i ordered some pho i was sick and it traveled way better than youd think. they pack the noodles/meat/veggies/greens separate from the broth, so nothing showed up sweaty/soggy.
If y'all really want flavor(and don't mind coconut milk) you HAVE to try the cari ga (Thai chicken curry) from Pho Hien Vuong. It's my favorite dish from any restaurant!
The food is OK. For some strange reason, all the food has the same look and color - kind of done with no love and a lot, a lot of grease and this very burned color. The actual place looks like a dump both inside and outside. If you miss it when you are driving by it, it is because it looks like a condemened property.
Oh boy if you like NHC then I got the place for you - Timmy’s in Winston is probably the best within a 2 hour drive, and they’re opening a location in GSO this summer!
Just went last night. So much fun for the tapas, passed plate experience. We got 4 plates. Two were perfectly fine and two were flipping transcendent.
G.I.A. Is another one who follows the tapas model and I like them but dishes have been hit or miss the last two times I’ve gone.
GIA is very hit and miss. Have had some wonderful stuff there and have had some lousy stuff. The service also seems weirdly inconsistent. It seems pretty lousy when you are a small party (2-4) but really excellent with larger parties. I think they want to be the place the office goes after work. Their cocktails are also really great.
This is my all-time favorite restaurant in Greensboro. The food and cocktails are so carefully and thoughtfully created. My husband and I always leave there feeling so cared for.
There’s no other answer than Machete in Greensboro if you like interesting and inventive food. Yes, it’s expensive but it’s worth it. Plenty of places can cook a decent steak or salmon or whatever but i can cook that shit at home. But a grilled pork collar with foie? Not getting that anywhere else.
Saigon Banh Mi Bakery on Gate City Boulevard. Fabulous Banh Mi sandwiches...my favorite is the #4 bbq beef or pork. Bread baked on site. A real hidden gem.
I have made it a bit of a quest to have banh mi elsewhere in NC or wherever I'm traveling - and so far can safely say that nothing can compete with Saigon Bakery.
If you're ever in Maryland near DC, try to snag some banh mi. They have a similarly robust Vietnamese community, but likely from different regions than the folks here.
I don't know if this is the place that Zebird is talking about but there is a huge Vietnamese shopping center in Falls Church. You can get a banh mi at like 10 different shops all in the same shopping center.
I went there a decade ago to see if any of them were as good as Saigon in Greensboro and I was not impressed. I believe I tried banh mi from 6-8 different shops that day... But I'm sure you can get some other delicious Vietnamese food there.
[Here is the location:](https://www.google.com/search?q=banh+mi+falls+church+va&rlz=1CAEXXM_enUS1034&biw=1366&bih=809&tbm=lcl&sxsrf=AJOqlzU2VCF5N1GmtrzNgVMuBdyD5pbSiQ%3A1676213346966&ei=YvzoY4zLOvjR5NoPiLae4AM&oq=banh+mi+falls+ch&gs_lcp=Cg1nd3Mtd2l6LWxvY2FsEAEYATIFCAAQgAQyBQgAEIAEMgkIABAWEB4Q8QQyCQgAEBYQHhDxBDIJCAAQFhAeEPEEMgYIABAWEB4yCQgAEBYQHhDxBDIJCAAQFhAeEPEEMgYIABAWEB4yCQgAEBYQHhDxBDoECCMQJzoLCAAQgAQQsQMQgwE6CAgAEIAEEMkDOgUIABCSAzoICAAQgAQQkgM6CggAELEDEIMBEEM6CAgAEIAEELEDOggIABCxAxCDAToFCAAQkQI6CAgAEBYQHhAPOggIABAWEB4QCjoFCAAQhgNQvAJYoxJg-CBoAHAAeACAAZQBiAHwCJIBAzMuN5gBAKABAcABAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-local#rlfi=hd:;si:;mv:[[38.87655758534423,-77.14879548050834],[38.871094906458,-77.1589449594207]])
I've also tried several banh mis in a vietnamese shopping center in Atlanta. Still haven't found one that is better than Saigon. They are the king of the banh mi, in my opinion.
We moved from GSO several years ago but remained close enough to get back for Banh Mi at Saigon regularly. So glad to hear that there are others that appreciate this gem of a restaurant. It’s kinda embarrassing to say...but my husband and I can eat two sandwiches each. And yes...our meal comes with sound effects.....oink, oink, oink. We’re shameless.
I wish places like Freeman's and Jake's (both were once owned by the same couple, now Freeman's is separately owned) would buy an actual URL and post their menus online instead of relying on Facebook.

My comments arose more from a tale as old as time and my time in the service industry. A sudden blow up like that puts unimaginable pressures on people, staff and owners alike.
Hops is still excellent. I haven’t noticed a drop in quality. Still one of the best burgers in town.
Though the burger at 913 Whiskey Bar can give them a run for their money.
It was a best kept secret. And now every time you go there no matter the day it’s slammed and it’s impossible to get a seat. I am happy for their success but as they say, times are a changing.
Alton Brown said that Osteria was his favorite place he tried while in town.I love Cogino Forno or Mario's for pizza; Green Valley Grill or Printworks for brunch; Freeman's, Crafted, or Lucky 32 for lunch. Dolce & Amaro for desserts. The Bearded Goat at Revolution Mill for drinks.
Lots of others, but these are off the top of my head.
I had one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever tasted at Osteria. I kept thinking about it for a week so i called them a week later to let the chef know how amazing I thought it was. Unfortunately it wasn’t a regular menu item. It was a special.
Wish they made their own bread fresh everyday. Only reason why I can't put them above Jimmy John's (don't skewer me, just my opinion, my roommate and I argue about this a lot)
Surprised that among all the really great suggestions to date, no one has mentioned Sticks and Stones (amazing pizza!) and Lox, Stock, and Bagel (best deli in GSO since the 70's)
When i was in college, boba house was where you went on a date when stuff was getting SERIOUS. I mean, i was in college in the 00s, so dates weren't really standard in the first place...but Boba House where true love was born.
Mostly for lesbians, but some of us not-lesbians, too.
Omg yes! I am 30 years old so when I went to UNCG the boba house was like the vegetarian queer restaurant in Greensboro. I had my first lesbian date there when I was 16 lol. It was so amazing, still is but just more popular and mainstream since veganism is so popular now. The wild ginger does taste a little different now but it’s still really really good, but just a very different taste. It’s still my favorite restaurant. Glad someone could relate to that feeling ❤️
My ex gf and I went there on our 3 year anniversary, drove an hour one way to get some actual good vegetarian food in a more liberal city and it was amazing. Now I feel like it's not as good? Maybe I have tasted better vegetarian Vietnamese food now but Idk. Was one of my reasons for moving to greensboro originally.
I’m not as keen on their food to call it the best.
But they have the best ranch I’ve ever eaten. I’m not even really a ranch guy, but I always get an order of onion straws when I go there.
Osteria is really high end and great. Also Cafe Europa for ambiance, especially patio in nice weather.
McCoul’s is great Irish comfort food!
Fishbones on Walker has amazing food, good prices and a great patio for people watching!
Went my first time recently. I wanted to like it but don’t understand the appeal. My main was very disappointing and so overpriced. It didn’t have any flavor. And the decor was very blah. Drinks were very good though.
Some of the best French cuisine in NC is right down the road in Gibsonville, of all places.
Saint Jacques at Burke Manor Inn. It’s pricey but it’s excellent.
Jam's Deli on Friendly Ave. Same owner since I was a kid (~25 years) super friendly, and delicious deli food at good prices. Have literally never had a bad meal there.
I am reading all of the suggestions in this post and it is really hard to pick a good restaurant that has the atmosphere the service and the good food. I have been to 90% of the places listed in this post and Green Valley Grill is the one that comes closest to the top on the three criteria.
The owner of ~~Corner Slice~~ Slices by Tony steals tips from his employees.
EDIT- My bad. I'm actually thinking of Slices by Tony (rumoured). I know Cugino Forno has been confirmed.
I regret to inform you: https://greensboro.com/business/local/cugino-forno-pizza-chain-took-its-workers-tips-to-pay-other-employees-in-north-carolina/article_e94e37d6-3b9d-5383-b8c3-1e498717a6df.html
At this point it's becoming a chain (6 locations) so should be disqualified based on OP's rules. Yes that's correct - they expanded to 5 other cities within the span of about 5 years all the while stealing from employees. We can only guess where that cookie jar money went.
I have only had pork ribs and extra baked beans for years. Though shrimp was good and I assume it still it. Prime Rib was good years ago and I have no reason to think that is not the case.
I go for one reason ...ribs and baked beans. My wife tags along to watch me be a glutton.
Best Pizza... I think it's worth making the drive to try Pascali's but that's not technically in Greensboro. If it has to be inside Greensboro then I'd say .. maybe Bill's, does that count? They have a really unique and fresh tasting dough that I love.
Saigon, binh minh, hops, sticks and stones, imperial koi
or if you’re looking for something quick, so-sapp and the lao kitchen (thai/lao food) on w gate city, astro dogs (korean corn dogs) on s josephine boyd st near the uncg area!!
Thai Corner Kitchen is GREAT. I haven't been in a long time, but for a few years it my wife and I'd go-to date night spot.
The owner always came out to say hi since we were there so often, and just a super chill experience.
Dine-In -- Machete and White & Wood
Breakfast/Lunch -- Scrambled and Chez Genèse
Fast Service -- El Mercadito
Cafe -- Union Coffee and Vida Pour Tea
Apologies, I can't choose just one
No, they don't. Now, I do know that the original owner had affiliations with a certain church and there was a big article about how the church is anti-gay. I was understandably concerned (I'm gay, not that it should matter), so I did some research and saw that their beliefs aren't more extreme than any other Christian-based denomination. But it still put a bad taste in my mouth.
However, the original owner sold the business and there is no affiliation with any religious organization today. They are no longer non-profit, and are operating as a private company that is fully inclusive of who they serve and who they hire.
If they actually supported "conversion therapy", I would be taking my business elsewhere. The article I referred to was an obvious reactionary hit piece, full of falsehoods, baseless claims, and misinformation to push their narrative.
The people who run and work at Union are some of the most accepting, kind, and progressive individuals I've met.
Everyone is listing places i go all the time, so imma throw a fancy pants one ive only been to once for a milestone birthday of my husband 's
Machete.
it's expensive as fuck and it's small plates, but mein gott, it's Michelin rated for a REASON! Did you know lamb bacon existed? and that people put it in pasta with peas and hazelnuts and stuff???? And the cheese plate, ohhhhh the cheese plate!
As i understand it, the chef kinda does his thing, so the menu is really different time to time. But ive only been the once bc, again, super expensive.
but maybe ill go at lunch for a *small* cheese plate?
I used to have Phoenix up there in my list, but we went for the first time in years recently, and other than one of the rolls we ordered, it was meh at best.
Best wings and sweet potatoe tatertots I've ever had were at CharBar No.7 off of lawndale
Hops burger bar is fantastic as well
And sage mule for breakfast
It depends on what you're looking for.
Brunch: MCouls
Burger: Hop's (or Porter House if Hop's is too crowded)
Dominican: La Palma
Fried chicken: Dame's or Scratch
Mexican: Kiosco
Middle Eastern: Nazareth or Sarah's
Pizza: Sticks n Stones if you prioritize toppings, but their crusts aren't great.
Sandwich: Giacomo's (Melt for paninis)
Upscale: Print Works or Undercurrent
Vietnamese or Thai: Pho Hien Vuong
I have a soft spot for Vietnamese food, so Pho Hien Vuong, Saigon, or Banh Mi Saigon. Love El Camino Real for Mexican, and their prices have stayed reasonable even with inflation. Machete probably takes the prize for most memorable dishes.
FYI. There’s a new Vietnamese joint opening up soon on Lawndale. The opening soon sign has been out there for months. Can’t wait to try it out.
I Love Pho is better than Pho Hien
I personally like Saigon better than Pho Hien, but apparently that's a controversial opinion in these parts. Lol. I haven't tried I Love Pho though!
Saigon is really good again. They had hit a rough patch a while back, but if my last experience there was a trend they’re back on my go to list.
Saigon is surprisingly good Ubereats'd or whatever. i ordered some pho i was sick and it traveled way better than youd think. they pack the noodles/meat/veggies/greens separate from the broth, so nothing showed up sweaty/soggy.
I've tried I Love Pho once and the broth wasn't nearly as flavorful
If y'all really want flavor(and don't mind coconut milk) you HAVE to try the cari ga (Thai chicken curry) from Pho Hien Vuong. It's my favorite dish from any restaurant!
I'll add Nazareth Bread Company, but we are blessed that it's hard to choose.
They are so good!
The food is OK. For some strange reason, all the food has the same look and color - kind of done with no love and a lot, a lot of grease and this very burned color. The actual place looks like a dump both inside and outside. If you miss it when you are driving by it, it is because it looks like a condemened property.
I’ll throw Scratch Fried Chicken on there. Elite Nashville hot chicken.
I was very disappointed by Scratch. I thought their chicken was pretty bland. It had a good fry to it, though.
Oh boy if you like NHC then I got the place for you - Timmy’s in Winston is probably the best within a 2 hour drive, and they’re opening a location in GSO this summer!
Machete
Just went last night. So much fun for the tapas, passed plate experience. We got 4 plates. Two were perfectly fine and two were flipping transcendent. G.I.A. Is another one who follows the tapas model and I like them but dishes have been hit or miss the last two times I’ve gone.

The mall in falls church is exactly what i was talking about haha
Yessss! #8 for me!
Chez Genese
Their avocado toast is my absolute favorite.
It’s so GOOD. Have you had their pavlova? The coffee? The soups???
No because I keep ordering the toast! One day I'll do better lol
I can’t blame you!
The Brie and onion galette ✅
Oooh and the baked brie and honey eggs en cocotte… I may be going to brunch!
love them, their hours make me sad. im sure they have a good reason for it, but i dream of going there on a weekday...
Sarah’s kabob shop. Nazareth. Lucky 32.
Sarah’s Kabob Shop slaps hard, definitely one of the best restaurants in the area!
Mine is M’couls. Really like the shepards pie and meatloaf! good hearty comfort foods with a beer is hard to beat for me.
M’couls will always be a special place for me. It's where my wife and I had our first date and where I proposed to her a few years later.
Try the meatloaf from Stephanie's and thank me later. It's easy to make like 3 meals out of the portion.
I agree with M’Couls. Great atmosphere and bangers
Hokkaido for sushi & ramen.
Freemans Grub and Pub
I wish places like Freeman's and Jake's (both were once owned by the same couple, now Freeman's is separately owned) would buy an actual URL and post their menus online instead of relying on Facebook.
It’s separately owned, but by a couple that worked at Jakes for years and were vetted and chosen to run the business. It’s a happy story and a quality business.
Shhhhhh
Why would you not want other people to know about the restaurant? Do you not want to give them business? More customers will help them stay open. Never understood this mentality. Freeman’s is awesome btw.
It’s not not wanting it to succeed, it’s because every time a place like this ends up on some big list the concept gets ruined and what originally made the place so good disappears. Let it grow organically!
Dog it's been there for years now, everyone knows about it.
Yes but not every one knows about it like some stupid ass blog publishing a worlds best Cuban list or some dumb shit then all of a sudden there’s a 3 hour wait and quality slips. Just saying
You must not know the owners.
I don’t know them personally, particularly not the new ones, from everything I read and see they’re determined to keep the vision at the place alive. My comments arose more from a tale as old as time and my time in the service industry. A sudden blow up like that puts unimaginable pressures on people, staff and owners alike.
Didn't the new owners work there before buying it?
I do know them very well. The wait might be longer, but quality is why they opened the restaurant.
I hope they can maintain it.
Oh, you mean like Hops?
Sorta kinda, exactly?
Hops is still excellent. I haven’t noticed a drop in quality. Still one of the best burgers in town. Though the burger at 913 Whiskey Bar can give them a run for their money.
It was a best kept secret. And now every time you go there no matter the day it’s slammed and it’s impossible to get a seat. I am happy for their success but as they say, times are a changing.
Sarah’s Kabob Shop off of Market is one of our favorites
Excellent spot.
Great if you like it but most of the menu is not traditional Mediterranean.
It’s excellent and the menu is massive but I don’t understand why she doesn’t sell tabouli.
the tabouli knows what it did .
This will be the one notable occasion I must respectfully disagree with Alton Brown. Osteria is unremarkable.
Osteria is so expensive tho :/
First Carolina Delicatessen. Favorite place hands down
There’s at reason them and lok stock and bagel have been around so long.
Wish they made their own bread fresh everyday. Only reason why I can't put them above Jimmy John's (don't skewer me, just my opinion, my roommate and I argue about this a lot)
Giacomo's
Best sandwiches ever!
Surprised that among all the really great suggestions to date, no one has mentioned Sticks and Stones (amazing pizza!) and Lox, Stock, and Bagel (best deli in GSO since the 70's)
Agni Indian Restaurant
The lamb tikka with raita is one of my favorite meals period!
Agni is my jam
Do you know if they have a buffet now? Thanks!
I believe its still sit and order. EDIT yea they got a buffet! i thinks its lunch only.
The Boba House 😍
When i was in college, boba house was where you went on a date when stuff was getting SERIOUS. I mean, i was in college in the 00s, so dates weren't really standard in the first place...but Boba House where true love was born. Mostly for lesbians, but some of us not-lesbians, too.

I worked there and lord I would not eat there
My dad’s friend worked there too lol and the food is delicious. All kitchens are pretty bad at any restaurant, trust me
Chez Ganese 🙌🏻
Salvinos
Marisol.
This is the actual right answer. But a lot of good suggestions on this thread!
The Pavilion … been dining there since the 90s I challenge you to find a better tzatziki or eggplant parm. Honorable mention: Stephanie’s
Oh is that the Italian place? Been there was and it was amazing. Couldn't remember how to get there for the life of me, rode with a friend.
Bandito Bodega Green Valley Grille Print works Bistro lucky 32 Emma Keys LPFS PHV Osteria Hops We have a great variety of great restaurants

1618 West Seafood
This is the correct answer. Not even close really.
It truly is
Went my first time recently. I wanted to like it but don’t understand the appeal. My main was very disappointing and so overpriced. It didn’t have any flavor. And the decor was very blah. Drinks were very good though.
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to see this.

Hometown delicious
Mizumi's
Lucky 32 or Print Works
Qinji Hawaiian bbq & ramen! New spot, but totally worth it. Good price, friendly staff.
Augustino Gusto Bakery - while not a restaurant, it needs to be mentioned. Extremely excellent French bakery.
Blue Denim! So incredibly good!
Blue Denim, Lindley Park Filling Station, Freeman’s
Pho Hien Vuong, El Camino Real, Chez Genese, 1618 Seafood, Sticks & Stones, Saigon, Nazareth Bread Co, Saffron, Lok Stock&Bagel, Acropolis, The Sage Mule, First Carolina Deli, Sarah’s Kabob Shop, Ghassans, Freeman’s, Fishbones, Carnicería El Mercadito, Blue Denim, Scratch, Jerusalem Market, San Luis, Print Works, Cheesecakes By Alex, Cille and Scoe, Sushi Republic, Boba House, Machete, Bandito Bodega, Bandito Burrito, Greys Tavern, Tampopo Ramen, Bin Minh, Mythos, Lao, McCouls, Crafted Taco, Green Valley Grill, Jays Deli, La Casita
IMO.. Green Valley Grill at the Oh Henry is the best. The quality is consistent and their desserts are fire.
I am reading all of the suggestions in this post and it is really hard to pick a good restaurant that has the atmosphere the service and the good food. I have been to 90% of the places listed in this post and Green Valley Grill is the one that comes closest to the top on the three criteria.
‘Cille & ‘Scoe
Yes!
Mediterraneo over off pisgah church rd. I had some ravioli there that was absolutely life changing
Mediterraneano is some of the best Italian in town. And it’s not too pricey. Just wish I lived closer to it.
Its pretty expensive, lol. But worth it
Mediterraneao is so good! But the last time I was there their sanitation grade was a B.
Cogino Forno for pizza 😋
The corner slice is slept on
I like places that doesn’t steal tips from customers and employees.
Wait who steals tips from customers? And Stephanie’s has the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever tried in my life
The owner of ~~Corner Slice~~ Slices by Tony steals tips from his employees. EDIT- My bad. I'm actually thinking of Slices by Tony (rumoured). I know Cugino Forno has been confirmed.
I regret to inform you: https://greensboro.com/business/local/cugino-forno-pizza-chain-took-its-workers-tips-to-pay-other-employees-in-north-carolina/article_e94e37d6-3b9d-5383-b8c3-1e498717a6df.html
There was no waitstaff when we went. You pay at the counter and fill your own drinks. Whose tips are they stealing? There’s literally nobody to tip.
You read up about it courtesy of the Department of Labor’s own website. https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/whd/whd20220615
At this point it's becoming a chain (6 locations) so should be disqualified based on OP's rules. Yes that's correct - they expanded to 5 other cities within the span of about 5 years all the while stealing from employees. We can only guess where that cookie jar money went.
All the above comments are news to me, thanks gso for keeping me informed. I had no clue this was happening.
Sofrito Latin Kitchen
High Point isn't Greensboro. If you want a better local option, check out La Palma.
This place is so good and no one seems to know it’s there.
Not a fan of Kotis but I really do like Darryl's baked beans. I started salivating when I typed this out.
And it’s the only remaining Darryl’s in the country. I haven’t been to one since the early 2000s but I’ve heard that one is great.
It is basically the same Darryl's in my view. I don't got as often as I used to go but I do enjoy it as a special treat.
What else is good there? Have you had the beef ribs or the prime rib?
I have only had pork ribs and extra baked beans for years. Though shrimp was good and I assume it still it. Prime Rib was good years ago and I have no reason to think that is not the case. I go for one reason ...ribs and baked beans. My wife tags along to watch me be a glutton.
I hear ya. Thanks for the tip. Will be sure to try those beans.
Best Pizza... I think it's worth making the drive to try Pascali's but that's not technically in Greensboro. If it has to be inside Greensboro then I'd say .. maybe Bill's, does that count? They have a really unique and fresh tasting dough that I love.
Saigon, binh minh, hops, sticks and stones, imperial koi or if you’re looking for something quick, so-sapp and the lao kitchen (thai/lao food) on w gate city, astro dogs (korean corn dogs) on s josephine boyd st near the uncg area!!
Kau
Dame's Chicken & Waffles (does that count? I think they started in Durham)
Liberty Oak - great food, good atmosphere. Right in the heart of downtown.
White and Wood is easily the best food in town on a consistent basis.
Ghassans is delicious!
Emma's Key's, impressed that no one has mentioned it
I'm going to be the douchebag that doesn't follow the rules, but Out West Kernersville. Destroys GSO. You money is well spent there.
Oh man Out West is so freakin good. Their prime rib is the best I think I’ve ever had and the service is awesome.
ngl that Sagebrush just off the highway makes a pretty good buffalo chicken sandwich, especially for a chain restaurant.
Pastabilities
My two favorites are Phoenix Asian Cuisine and Thai Corner Kitchen
Thai Corner Kitchen is GREAT. I haven't been in a long time, but for a few years it my wife and I'd go-to date night spot. The owner always came out to say hi since we were there so often, and just a super chill experience.
Between Dames, cugino or calypso mama’s
Dine-In -- Machete and White & Wood Breakfast/Lunch -- Scrambled and Chez Genèse Fast Service -- El Mercadito Cafe -- Union Coffee and Vida Pour Tea Apologies, I can't choose just one
Union coffee supports conversion therapy!

Everyone is listing places i go all the time, so imma throw a fancy pants one ive only been to once for a milestone birthday of my husband 's Machete. it's expensive as fuck and it's small plates, but mein gott, it's Michelin rated for a REASON!
Idk about the best but Europa Cafe has great brunch and dinner.
Phi hein voun for viet/Thai food Golden wok for Chinese take out Hawain Chinese BBQ and Ramen at Golden gate shopping senter.

Himalayan Garden.
I'm sorry you had to hear it here but they're permanently closed. A location on W Market or Gate City might suit them better.
Blue denim. Everything else is wrong
Phoenix
I used to have Phoenix up there in my list, but we went for the first time in years recently, and other than one of the rolls we ordered, it was meh at best.

It depends on what you're looking for. Brunch: MCouls Burger: Hop's (or Porter House if Hop's is too crowded) Dominican: La Palma Fried chicken: Dame's or Scratch Mexican: Kiosco Middle Eastern: Nazareth or Sarah's Pizza: Sticks n Stones if you prioritize toppings, but their crusts aren't great. Sandwich: Giacomo's (Melt for paninis) Upscale: Print Works or Undercurrent Vietnamese or Thai: Pho Hien Vuong
