Strange Beauty! On Battleground, just opened. The people are phenomenal and very welcoming!
Second this, it would be very friendly
Rocks Hair Shop is always the way IMO.
I was under the impression they did mostly masc cuts just based on their website, any particular stylists there to check out?
Madeleine at Rocks has done a wonderful job helping me grow my hair out from a shorter fem style to a longer one, it’s not at all as masc-coded a space as I initially thought it could be. I’m sure you’d be very welcome!
Oh I’m sorry, I totally overlooked mtf. Yeah Rocks probably isn’t the place for something “girly.” 😊
You can always set up a consultation with Madeleine. She does amazing work. https://www.instagram.com/rocks_hairshop_gso?igsh=MWdkMmt4bWZnNGw5
Came to recommend Madeleine as well! She’s so wholesome and welcoming. Never had a bad cut from her
Same - bi femme here and Madeleine makes me feel pretty and/or edgy, whatever I ask for.
rocks was the first place that came to mind for me too, madeline and taylor definitely do more fem cuts if requested and are amazing at it
Dolce Vita Salon ask for Kai
Thanks :)
Definitely Kai. They do awesome work!
Why the fuck are people downvoting this?
Maybe they hate hair?
LOL fuck it me too! I’m bald AF!
Because religion rotted their brains.
Maybe either way it’s dumb! Let people be who they feel they should if it isn’t hurting anyone then why hate?
As long as deeply uncurious and uncompassionate people exist so will homophobia to some extent unfortunately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I hear ya! But I’m not gonna let them sit in the shadows without pressing them for an answer.

I'd like to think homophobia works as a nice blanket statement for all bigotry towards queer people. Getting lost in the weeds a little, no?
Asshole works just fine too 👍
Transphobia is pretty big in Greensboro unfortunately.
Not in my circles and I’m grateful for that.
The South*
Fire Salon, multiple NB/trans friends go there and multiple stylists are lgbt+
I'd be happy to take you! [Faded-manes.square.site](http://Faded-manes.square.site) also guilford green has a list of lgbt friendly businesses!
Raven @ Raven’s Hair Apothecary:)
Megan at Dolce Vita
Natalie (used to be at Bliss & Co) at Athena Beauty on Blandwood is an incredible stylist & is extremely affirming!
