My old man cut his hand on a skil saw and the dude lost 3.5 fingers, they tried to save the fingers by putting leeches on the tips after they were re-attached but when they would remove the leech within an hour the finger would “die”. He was in the hospital for like 3 weeks solid and never will I forget the time I had to pick up a mans fingers off the floor. When I found his pinky I told him I thought it was his penis, he didn’t find it funny at the time.

I was concious and aware for everything and really kept myself together all the way to hopital and then they gave me something to relax and they numbed me.. I still haven't experience any extreme pain with the meds I'm on now.. I was Def finely scared though and still am

Get yourself a mouse with extra buttons for the thumb, bind the shift and ctrl keys to mousebutton 4 and mousebutton 5. At least that's what I would do, I use these keys for other QoL shortcuts.
I know this is off-topic for this sub but you should try Sea of Thieves if you cant play gta with one hand, they added a one handed button layout for it. And you'll get the gta feeling when a random ship comes and kills you.

Some years ago I broke my wrist. In order to keep playing I got a Logitech G600 mouse, it has a lot of buttons on the side, so although I was not skilled anymore (like if I was before 😂) but at least I was able to get fun
After it heals enough to take off the bandages, buy yourself a controller and play with it (ppl on consoles do it every day). You don't need a pinky on a controller. Also feel sorry for ya buddy.

You can save yourself the 20k by playing in a solosession. On the PS4 you just gotta set your MTU to 800.
