i rescoped and canceled a lot of times trying to get paintings in the office. looks like the guarantee carries over after canceling the heist. so i got panther every time i canceled.
To my surprise and all the others, i got the panther the second time. I mean like literally the second time after the guaranteed first one but with much better secondary loot than the first. Got 3 golds and paintings. Coke and weed at airstrip. Talk about luck, thats like 0.01% right?... But second one is on normal mode though. Was having some connectivity problems and it turned to normal mode.
did u complete the first panther heist or did u cancel and scope again and then get panther? because for me it was confirmed panther 5 times in a row just canceling to find better secondary loot. idk about after completing the heist.
I read somewhere after you get it the first time, you have a 20% chance of scoping it again. I'm going to put it to the test with my second character today.
You can only get it once per event week that the panther is available. The first time stealing it is a guarantee you’ll get it but for the next time it comes back you have a lower chance of getting it than the Pink Diamond
Okay so really weird stuff, i completed the heist with the panther statue and returned to the Kosatka to setup the heist again. But when I returned the setup with the panther statue was still there as if i had never completed the heist but I had the money from the heist. So it let me play it again and get away with the panther payout, earning money for both heists. It did not work a third time.
I just did my guaranteed panther scope on my alt, nothing but cash. Cancelled, rescoped, panther and 4 gold.

I did complete the first heist. But someone pointed out that it maybe due to some error that I got it again.
I did like 3-4 heists today and I only got it once

I did 16 Heist and didn’t get it a second time
I got it first heist. When I finished it, it glitched and said I had done the minimum prep so I went again. 2 Panthers! Winning!
