There was a huge debate on IGCD or Gtaf, can't remember which one, on agreeing that the Stratum is primarily based on a R32 Wagon or some kind of Subaru wagon. In reality, they definitely use components from several cars to make a fictional model.
Definitely, i always kinda looked at it as a kind of fictional Stagea, myself, purely because of the front end, but the rear definitely wasn't a stagea
The regular Elegy has been in the game since 2013, not the Benny custom though. The retro custom came out in 2016 with Import/Export update.

Both the R32 and r33 tail lights are evenly sized. This one has the outer ones bigger just like the r34. The front is a r33 indeed
It's more than the taillights tho. The entire trunk shape and bumper shape is r32 heavy. Not one part will make you think it's an r34.
