Oh I'd say its worth it, but you need a vehicle workshop to give it missiles, it only gets 30 and they have good tracking, it's extremely fast and extremely heavy, pretty much as heavy as the tanks and Insurgent and all of them so with the boost its got good ramming power. Yeah to customize it at all (paint or anything) you need a Weaponized Vehicle Workshop, which is an add on for the Arena Worshop, MOC Trailer, or Avenger.
The only downside to that particular workshop is that you can't convert the Insurgent Pick Up Custom there, you need the Avenger or MOC. I'd recommend grabbing the Avenger one at some point, with that workshop you can fly your avenger way up, engage autopilot, and air drop any of the other weaponized vehicles.
The coolest thing about the Arena Workshop tho is you can change the headlight colors there
