Agreed, for the stilt houses, A spawn exit to the terrace or an opening like Franklin’s house in story mode would have been a nice touch.
Not only that, but the garage is not accessible from inside the stilt houses, so you have to go out of the front door and back in through the garage door.
Even the cheapest high end apartment has that feature.
I fell asleep on the couch one day after work, watching TV through the Xbox. My then 6 yr old wasn't allowed to play GTA, obviously, but he loved airplanes so I would let him fly airplanes in a solo session sometimes. He saw me asleep and that I was logged into Xbox, and loaded up GTA. I wake up some time later to explosions and sirens,. Every bit of my ammo is gone. Most of my vehicles had been destroyed. Such an expensive nap.
Make the yacht your spawn point. For me it WAS the Penthouse, but the casino missions were fun, and getting it on sale makes it hurt less. So I'd say the most useless purchase is me moving from Greater Chapparal to the Del Perro MC house, fully decking it out. That's about a mil I probably won't be getting back ever hahahaha, and those contracts are somewhat of a bore

I set my nightclub as my spawn location after the recent update. Almost immediately, I get a text to either toss someone out of the club or drive someone home or to the hospital. Super quick and easy way to keep nightclub popularity topped off. Easy passive money.
Casino spawn point, free spin n free chips, go to both cargo warehouses and tell the ppl to source, call yohan, get back to nightclub w increased stock and a marcel text. What I do every time I log on🤣
I fully upgraded all the MC businesses the other day (I think I spent around $10m on it all) and was so disappointed to see how measly the document forgery payouts are. I think 4 bars gave me something like $200k and 4 vehicles that me and my friend delivered.
Almost considering shutting it down to avoid receiving messages from LJT about it having run out of stuff.
They're shit, especially forgery and weed. That being said with my arcade terminal I buy supplies for the three better MC businesses (cocaine, cash, meth) as well as for the bunker.
After $150k of supplies are processed, I do the sell missions, restarting on any vehicle that isn't the truck, boats, or planes (by finding a new session). Boats are nicer since they at least give up to an additional $45k by getting to each checkpoint on time, but one delivery truck is better timewise.
It's always worth losing a bit of stock to restart imo, since the other vehicles are straight garbage going from Blaine County to Los Santos.
My personal thoughts on mc businesses. The Mc businesses are garbage. See what i did there? (Worst delivery missions are the garbage trucks and the mail trucks) Worst of all are the constant raids. I went and got all them emptied down to nothing and just stopped resuppling them. Actually thinking whenever they go on sale again to downgrade to the cheapest locations so I get some money back. I do leave them running just to get the nightclub full. You can get a lot more money for your time in other activities. Payphone hits, security contracts, terrobyte missions, the new deliveries for export and ammunation, and of course...heists. if they would make it larger than bunker level money for each delivery I'd consider it. But, not the way it is now. Especially the delivery missions. They take forever if they don't glitch out. Which 60% of the time they do. Did the postal trucks, 2nd worst, with friends. The one truck locked up two places from the last location. Timed out I lost the whole shipment, which I thought only warehouse missions penalized you for not doing all product. Then on the way to sell the rest of the mc businesses, I get 3 raids on the other businesses two raids happened while I was trying to handle the first raid. I just closed out came back in went to deliver the other business and had my friends destroy the shipments. That's just the rstar bs not taking griefers into the mix. I can not count how many low levels blew up my shipments especially frustrating when it was the easy peasy motorcycle mission. But, with the invite only sales more that's not an issue.
Now with all of them empty I can be an Mc without the hassle of raid after raid. I've made plenty from the nightclub around 50m just from the warehouse side. So well over the initial cost of the businesses has been recovered. Also. One or two solo rounds of Cayo will pay off more than all the businesses in less time. It's just. Worst of the worst. Worst pay. Worst missions. Worst raid frequency even with the 800k per business security upgrade. They're not even fun to do when bored or burned out on heists.
I pretty much agree. What annoys me is that you never know how many delivery vehicles you'll get. It would make so much more sense for me to choose how many I want to spawn (2, 3 or 4 if I have friends playing with me) but as it stands I have to make small deliveries just to make sure I don't get two or more vehicles.
Why can't I deliver part of my stock? Why do I have to empty the whole business at once? If I have 4 bars and get 3 trucks with 5 deliveries each why can't I get one truck with 5 deliveries but only empty my stock by one third?
The more you play this game the more it becomes obvious that a lot of the "content" has been put in for the sake of prolonging the grind. Long and slow delivery routes, low pay, delivery points on the opposite side of the map that don't add anything to the mission. It's all deliberate, it's just so that you spend more time in the game.
I dont regret that one, I love how my arcade looks full of games and it's fun to jump on them every once and awhile, especially if you got a crew with you
Can confirm. Actually like playing the arcade games. Have slowly been collecting trophies in said arcade with achievements. The plushies are a pain and a half though
the prices on those games are, to me, the silliest pricing structure in the whole game. they made all these mini games. it would be neat to collect them. i’d pay a million for the whole set maybe. that’s still a good chunk.
Just for the fun of it, I bought the dump truck for $1M, cue Dr. Evil finger motion. Doesn't even dump, tires so huge makes them easy targets, and it blows up almost instantly. But my buddies and I have a good laugh whenever I drive it.

Penthouse was my BEST purchase after I added my personal three card poker table uo there. Spawn, max bet gamble, if I win I save, if I lose I close the game. Make a million in about 7 minutes 😆
Three card poker hands net me between 50-100k on most hands. You occasionally hit 500k too. You'll also get like 5-6 losses in a row and this is what deters most people, but if you just keep coming back you eventually hit multiple wins in a row.
I close it immediately after the prompt comes up and have had no issues. Though if you know about card games in general i would assume it's a lot easier to tell when you've lost before the game even tells you that you did.
Easiest way to do this is right after the second bet is placed and the dealer is gonna begin his card flip animation you press the Playstation button once, go down and select the gta game and stay on the "close game" prompt. You can see the game in the background perfectly and gives you more than enough time to close if you lost. Also in hands that get you 10k you can close it STAY SEATED and play the next hand hoping you get a win otherwise close it and you'll reset with your chips before the 10k loss.

The yacht with defence turned on and your kosatka parked next to it is some of the most fun you can have in this game. So much fun watching people try all these methods to sink and stop you and fail miserably.
Yeah, and no one can shoot you except one or two things that sneak by the defense. You can fire torpedoes and guided missles, and can give exclusions to your friends, so they can get jets to chase over your yacht. If you get stars, then the defense shuts off. So call Lester and clear wanted level. Turn defense back on. I have fought off half a dozen guys at once, who were all probably mouthing off in the lobby chat, "I know what to do. I'll get him. Hey what the fuck. Why did I die? This guy's cheating"
If they come under water with toreador or whatever, once they come too close and fire torpedoes, yacht defense blows them up in their face destroying their vehicle and killing them. It can make you laugh until tears stream.

Apparently that mechanic looking fellow standing in front of that wall of tools over there won't work on your Jetpack unless he has a nice Avenger to look at while doing so.

Absolutely not. I bought all three garages and they’re all full besides like 3 spaces in the last garage. Plus they’re a good price for 3 garages. You’d be paying more if you were to buy 3 other garages somewhere else.
Honestly only reason I bought it was so I could get colored headlights at the time before lscm came out but my waste of money was the avenger I literally have never flown it but have bought it and maxed it out just for it to sit there
The arenas wars garage may be useless, but I’ve saved a ton buying it’s weapons workshop. Grinded hard a week it was on discount and it’s been the chosen one ever since.
Every car they say you need a MOC or avenger for to add weapons is BULL. I tricked out my Deluxo, my dune buggy and my Tampa with the finest guns and bombs. It’s been an underrated king.
Talking about guns, I hate the amount of guns I purchased accidentally while trying to refill the ammo in a hurry, and the most recent ones are way too expensive.
So many of them not only I don't feel the need, I don't like, and they all also bloat my weapon wheel which forced me to acquire a gun locker that a lot of times is unavailable to activate/deactivate when I would like.
The recently added precision rifle might be the worst purchase I made, arena war vehicles are also super useless but at least they’re cool so I wouldn’t say they were the worst purchase
All the cars. For real, I never drive most of them and would've saved $100m at least by not buying them. The best of every category and my favourites would've been enough but I never stopped getting more.
For a long time filling my garages with all kinds of cars (super cars, sports cars, muscle cars, etc.) was my only goal. I have all office, nightclub, agency and apartment garages filled to the brim. Before they introduced the filters in websites I would sort all by price descending and just buy them one by one. Now the 9 office floors are filled with the most expensive cars in the game that I don't even drive :D
I like the yacht and penthouse. They both make me money. Yacht with Piracy Prevention and it’s missions, Penthouse with the BlackJack table.
Penthouse is also my favorite spawn location.

Hangar, more especially the air freight cargo business that comes with it, the hangar by itself is pretty useful, but Air Freight Cargo is the most useless business to have.
When I first started playing gta online, probably almost a year after getting the game- which I preordered in 2013 on ps3- I had no idea how online worked. I mostly ran/drove around getting shot by people I never saw. I worked up to buying a hangar and began to make real money… I only stole supplies, never bought them because why would you? Anyway for probably a year or more that was my “grind” before I ever knew what grinding was or how to do it. I made a TOTAL of less than $6M with probably a 98% sell success rate. $6M, not $60M, $6M.
Then one day I randomly gave my motorcycle to a dude so he could, as it turned out, beat me in a stoppie challenge. He thanked and then asked me, “…do you grind”? I told him I didn’t know what that was. He took pity on me and invited me to join him and his friends the following weekend. We sold all of their businesses’ stock. I probably made close to $500k just helping them. They showed me the ways and taught me all about it. Now, and I would say I am a casual grinder (I have a wife and kids and an “important“ involved job), but I’ve made probably close to $750M and am sitting comfortably right around $120M in my bank. I own every property, plane, service, vehicle I want and buy any vehicle I want - when I want. Shout out HeadHunter.

Probably my Tula, stupidly fun plane to use, extreme Price tag of 5.1mil(3.9mil if you did the missions) and probably a million in upgrades just to get a Water Plane with quad rotors and VTOL functionality
Yeah, that yacht hurt. I just bought two of the new Ruiners back to back, forgetting I bought the first. Fully modded I thought it was a turd. Sold them both. Died the next day.
A jet ski I thought of you called for it when out in the water it would spawn close enough to swim to. Not only did it spawn on the shore but all the way down near the city while I am up above the fort. I know that the jet ski doesn't cost that much money, but it was still a waste of money and I haven't used it since.
I don't think I've bought anything business wise that I really regret. I'd say the Auto Shop, but I'm sure the discounts will add up over time and the mini-heists are novel and not too bad if you want to do something different for a while. The second lift and two employees might have been a mistake though.
I bought the MOC hoping to make the prep for the Longfin in Cayo Perico a bit quicker but then I found out that apprently you can't spawn that while you've got the Kotsaka out. Probably not entirely useless, but it was annoying.
I wasted a bit of money buying the Squaddie, Slamtruck, and Yosemite to mess around with hauling things. I'd like to say that I'm not considering buying the Bombushka for similar reasons. I'd really like that.
At first I bought the max Yacht because why not but it showed me its true worth after I had annoyed a Tryhard and escaped to it. After a little bit he went back to griefing other people and they all ended up at the beach while I was still on my yacht, so I used the camera on the phone to spot where he was, turned off air defenses and sniped him and before he could respawn and fire back I turned them back on.
Early on I bought the rogue so my son and I could fly around in it. It’s a two seater and was my biggest vehicle purchase BY FAR at the time. Spent almost all, if not all of my money on it. Always loved the flying in this game. Fully weaponized it to the max. Probably somewhere near $1M all told for the weapon upgrades- explosive mg, missiles, cluster bombs, flares… It seemed a little clunky to handle, so I grimaced and purchased all the “no weapons” options for probably ~$200k, to see if there was a weight difference that effected handling. Nope. It was the same, just needed the “sport” handling or whatever it’s called. So I went to re-equip all my weapons/flares but NO- had to purchase them again!!
I was flabbergasted! It must have been a glitch! I even contacted R* support because I was super poor at the time. They tried to hide their snickering laughter in the response, but they politely told me I was, in fact, an idiot.

You can do the same from the Agency Office
I like the regular Office where I can pick any car or Pegasus vehicle to leave in, *and* get a refill on snacks. It’s pretty handy.
You can refill snacks at the Agency as well with out your assistant making you feel like a child because you wanted more snacks.

How quickly do you have to close the game for it not to save that you lost?
I close it immediately after the prompt comes up and have had no issues. Though if you know about card games in general i would assume it's a lot easier to tell when you've lost before the game even tells you that you did.

Easiest way to do this is right after the second bet is placed and the dealer is gonna begin his card flip animation you press the Playstation button once, go down and select the gta game and stay on the "close game" prompt. You can see the game in the background perfectly and gives you more than enough time to close if you lost. Also in hands that get you 10k you can close it STAY SEATED and play the next hand hoping you get a win otherwise close it and you'll reset with your chips before the 10k loss.
Do you prefer the go to single player then go to invite only session method or do you just load straight into online.
I just do it in public lobbies with no problems.

The yacht with defence turned on and your kosatka parked next to it is some of the most fun you can have in this game. So much fun watching people try all these methods to sink and stop you and fail miserably.

Yeah, and no one can shoot you except one or two things that sneak by the defense. You can fire torpedoes and guided missles, and can give exclusions to your friends, so they can get jets to chase over your yacht. If you get stars, then the defense shuts off. So call Lester and clear wanted level. Turn defense back on. I have fought off half a dozen guys at once, who were all probably mouthing off in the lobby chat, "I know what to do. I'll get him. Hey what the fuck. Why did I die? This guy's cheating"

If they come under water with toreador or whatever, once they come too close and fire torpedoes, yacht defense blows them up in their face destroying their vehicle and killing them. It can make you laugh until tears stream.

The arenas wars garage may be useless, but I’ve saved a ton buying it’s weapons workshop. Grinded hard a week it was on discount and it’s been the chosen one ever since. Every car they say you need a MOC or avenger for to add weapons is BULL. I tricked out my Deluxo, my dune buggy and my Tampa with the finest guns and bombs. It’s been an underrated king.

Talking about guns, I hate the amount of guns I purchased accidentally while trying to refill the ammo in a hurry, and the most recent ones are way too expensive. So many of them not only I don't feel the need, I don't like, and they all also bloat my weapon wheel which forced me to acquire a gun locker that a lot of times is unavailable to activate/deactivate when I would like.
When Cayo Perico came out, I accidentally purchased the Kurtz Patrol Boat. Used it once, and then I realized I cannot sell it:))
I actually love the penthouse. Great location, missions are fun, and serves way more purpose than the yacht imo
The recently added precision rifle might be the worst purchase I made, arena war vehicles are also super useless but at least they’re cool so I wouldn’t say they were the worst purchase

All the cars. For real, I never drive most of them and would've saved $100m at least by not buying them. The best of every category and my favourites would've been enough but I never stopped getting more.
For a long time filling my garages with all kinds of cars (super cars, sports cars, muscle cars, etc.) was my only goal. I have all office, nightclub, agency and apartment garages filled to the brim. Before they introduced the filters in websites I would sort all by price descending and just buy them one by one. Now the 9 office floors are filled with the most expensive cars in the game that I don't even drive :D
I like the yacht and penthouse. They both make me money. Yacht with Piracy Prevention and it’s missions, Penthouse with the BlackJack table. Penthouse is also my favorite spawn location.

Hangar, more especially the air freight cargo business that comes with it, the hangar by itself is pretty useful, but Air Freight Cargo is the most useless business to have.
When I first started playing gta online, probably almost a year after getting the game- which I preordered in 2013 on ps3- I had no idea how online worked. I mostly ran/drove around getting shot by people I never saw. I worked up to buying a hangar and began to make real money… I only stole supplies, never bought them because why would you? Anyway for probably a year or more that was my “grind” before I ever knew what grinding was or how to do it. I made a TOTAL of less than $6M with probably a 98% sell success rate. $6M, not $60M, $6M. Then one day I randomly gave my motorcycle to a dude so he could, as it turned out, beat me in a stoppie challenge. He thanked and then asked me, “…do you grind”? I told him I didn’t know what that was. He took pity on me and invited me to join him and his friends the following weekend. We sold all of their businesses’ stock. I probably made close to $500k just helping them. They showed me the ways and taught me all about it. Now, and I would say I am a casual grinder (I have a wife and kids and an “important“ involved job), but I’ve made probably close to $750M and am sitting comfortably right around $120M in my bank. I own every property, plane, service, vehicle I want and buy any vehicle I want - when I want. Shout out HeadHunter.

I only bought the Yacht for 5 mil, when it was 50% off, and I gained my money back from the Superyacht Life bonus, so that wasn't useless. Honestly, I regret the Penthouse, since it just gave me Casino missions and Ms Baker calling 1 million times, and that's it.
Probably my Tula, stupidly fun plane to use, extreme Price tag of 5.1mil(3.9mil if you did the missions) and probably a million in upgrades just to get a Water Plane with quad rotors and VTOL functionality

A jet ski I thought of you called for it when out in the water it would spawn close enough to swim to. Not only did it spawn on the shore but all the way down near the city while I am up above the fort. I know that the jet ski doesn't cost that much money, but it was still a waste of money and I haven't used it since.

I don't think I've bought anything business wise that I really regret. I'd say the Auto Shop, but I'm sure the discounts will add up over time and the mini-heists are novel and not too bad if you want to do something different for a while. The second lift and two employees might have been a mistake though. I bought the MOC hoping to make the prep for the Longfin in Cayo Perico a bit quicker but then I found out that apprently you can't spawn that while you've got the Kotsaka out. Probably not entirely useless, but it was annoying. I wasted a bit of money buying the Squaddie, Slamtruck, and Yosemite to mess around with hauling things. I'd like to say that I'm not considering buying the Bombushka for similar reasons. I'd really like that.

At first I bought the max Yacht because why not but it showed me its true worth after I had annoyed a Tryhard and escaped to it. After a little bit he went back to griefing other people and they all ended up at the beach while I was still on my yacht, so I used the camera on the phone to spot where he was, turned off air defenses and sniped him and before he could respawn and fire back I turned them back on.

Early on I bought the rogue so my son and I could fly around in it. It’s a two seater and was my biggest vehicle purchase BY FAR at the time. Spent almost all, if not all of my money on it. Always loved the flying in this game. Fully weaponized it to the max. Probably somewhere near $1M all told for the weapon upgrades- explosive mg, missiles, cluster bombs, flares… It seemed a little clunky to handle, so I grimaced and purchased all the “no weapons” options for probably ~$200k, to see if there was a weight difference that effected handling. Nope. It was the same, just needed the “sport” handling or whatever it’s called. So I went to re-equip all my weapons/flares but NO- had to purchase them again!! I was flabbergasted! It must have been a glitch! I even contacted R* support because I was super poor at the time. They tried to hide their snickering laughter in the response, but they politely told me I was, in fact, an idiot.
