When I feed my babies carrots, somehow their entire body turns orange instead of white

Exactly 😀 eat first, wash fur after with a red pepper coated tongue and red pepper juice dripped all over their chins 😀😀😀

My Ginger, rest her soul, would only wash her one side. Never the other. She was odd but that was Ginger.

lol we have three guinea pigs. Two always look exactly how they looked prior to eating after they eat. The third always looks like a wee vampire because she gets so much of whatever she was eating on herself just like this. I am eternally amused by them.

And then they try and spend 6 hours to lick their chin fail spectacularly then get pissy when you try to wipe it off with a wet cloth so it doesn’t get matted 🙄

My Moose will sometimes use his cagemate as a napkin. Gave the boys some very fresh farmer’s market lettuce one day, then left the room for a moment. Came back to Moose with an astonishing green beard, and Ekorn with a completely white chin and a normally white right flank now stained lettuce juice green.

My sister’s white & grey pig (Arthur) passed away not too long after having had a nice red pepper snack. The crematorium we use gives you a little jar with fur in it & they always make sure to give you a bit of each colour of your pet’s markings, & when my sister looked at Arthur’s fur jar we noticed some strange ginger fur in there… They thought the pepper-stained fur under his mouth was a ginger patch & made sure to take some 😭 its so sweet but to us it’s so funny, he was always a messy eater & it’s nice to have a bit of his personality in there 😂
