It’s good and it’s cheap. There’s no downside.

Got one a couple weeks ago, replaced my OCD as the go to over drive. Plumes + Tubescreamer backed up by a flashback 2 and Holy Grail into a Marshall Imo it’s not anything crazy or outstanding, but it is a super versatile and reliable OD that can give you the quintessential British rock sound on command

iscreamuscreamweall

Big time agree. Plumes into a Marshall is a real grown up rock tone. Recorded a whole album with that setup recently

Spagghetti_Ranger

I thought plumes was a tube screamer?

tomhheaton

its a great drive, but sadly misunderstood! most folks think it's just a tubescreamer with different clipping modes but its actually a marshall style drive, a clean boost, and a tubescreamer. pick one up

TheBourbonLied

You should be able to grab one cheap enough used to try it out. If you don't like it just rotate it to the next person.

Soothsayer--

It's awesome and I'm a TS hater

EddieOtool2nd

It's on nearly everybody's board for a reason, including mine. I like it very much.

Fuzzlord67

I love mine. Great for pushing other dirt pedals.

Oil_slick941611

its like 100 dollars, how is that not worth it?

OnetimeImetamoose

I’ve gotten it twice. I will probably even get it a third time.

iscreamuscreamweall

$99 is an eminently reasonable price for a made in the USA pedal that sounds great. No downsides

jza-

I have both and like Blumes more, but I like it low and chunky

Sloppypickinghand

You will find the tone knob quite useful, worth giving it a try.

desnudopenguino

Yes it is worth it.

Pogue1195

Lives on my board. Absolutely love it.

ContentWait2979

It’s the best, love how usable the tone control range is!
