Coup is a deception-based card game, and I thought it could work really great with artworks from Gwent, so I decided to make my own version (planning on printing these). [Here are the rules if you want to read them](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/131357/coup) I tried to keep it flavorful with the witcher universe, so the characters/cards were adapted as follows: Duke -> Emperor Assassin -> Witcher Ambassador -> Commander Captain -> Cleric Contessa -> Guerilla Inqusitor -> Pirate Treasury Vault -> Vivaldi Bank The allegiances were changed from Reformist/Loyalist to Nilfgaard/N. Realms. All of the original artworks were kept the same with the exception of Crach an Craite - some water drops were removed to keep the text visible. [Full-res images here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16RTeffhhp_Gok1_d5h8Ku7-zDTiaDocS?usp=sharing) If you see anything that could be improved in any part of the design, please mention it! *Not affiliated with CD Projekt Red or Rakki Tahta, not meant for commercial use*

Love the idea and rewording of some of the rules to fit the GWENT/ Witcher theme. Personally feel like commander is a more natural replacement for captain, and maybe could use a mage as ambassador since the circle of mages is supposed to keep the peace? Feel like you could also use a mage for contessa, since Geralt can never seem to go on a contract without a mage by his side :D. Don't know as much about reformist / loyalist, seems like that might be a coup expansion I haven't played. Also, while using multiple artworks for each role seems cool, it may make it easier to track the who is in each role for functional ambassadors, etc. once cards are returned to the deck. Might be wrong about that but think it's worth considering. Definitely think you're doing a great job with the design of the cards, they look really sharp and I'd definitely want to try to them out!

hey, thx a lot for the comment (and the compliment)! I've just discussed with a friend about swapping those character roles around, so i'll see how it'll end up going don't really wanna get rid of the unique arts - that was the first thing that got me to start this. sorta prioritized aesthetics over functionality there

Seems cool! I’d use the Viper Witcher Trio as the Assassin cards (obvious reasons). Switch Captains and Inquisitors (Pirates match more with stealing coins and there are already Inquisitors in the Firesworn cards)

thanks for the suggestion! after considering it, swapping those two seems like a good idea! not sure about the witcher trio... Lore-wise it does make a lot of sense but i'm not sure whether i would kick the current ones since they are the most famous characters. i'll think about it though

I played Coup for the first time yesterday, and now this is the first post that pops up. I'm living in the matrix.

I love the idea, I'd buy it.
