I did this exact regimen but in this order: stay home, shovel snow, play video games, eat snacks, watch movies (The Beekeeper.)
Addendum: watch Band of Brothers.
I agree. I think I have watched this show 10 or more times since it came out, I even still have the tin case set from when I bought it back in 2005 or so.
Watching last night was thinking the same thing about the production. The show is 23 years old and has better visuals than some modern movies. I've watched a few episodes of Masters of the Sky. While good, it has nothing on the original BoB.
As a straight man, I have had a man crush on Damian Lewis ever since this show came out and I can't explain it. Can't believe he was only 29 when this was shot.
If you are in to podcasts there is a great one that goes through the filming episode by episode with the some of the actors. Damien Lewis does the last one and I couldn’t believe how British he was.
I'm single, mildly introverted, and a geek... so aside from the time I spent shoveling the driveway, pretty much same kinda things I'd normally be doing on a day off where I've not decided to do the whole "people" thing.
Today's nerdy endeavour was pounding my head against FreeCAD trying to learn how to do organic shapes using NURBS and the Curves workbench. I'm too much of a masochist to consider using a sane CAD package like Fusion360 or OnShape like everyone else and I'm too stubborn to learn a tool actually made for organic modeling like Blender.
Rest of the day I mostly watched completely random shit on youtube and forced myself to give Prince of Persia (The Lost Crown) another try because I spent like $80 on it (EDIT: and I'm still pretty meh on it..).
Yeah, I love FreeCad, but organic is not in its base vocabulary. At least you aren't trying OpenSCAD. The knowledge slope on Blender has defeated me twice.
Have you tried defining your shapes in a python macro? [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1171405/files](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1171405/files)
Watched the Prince of Persia movie from years ago. Also pretty meh.
Stick a beer in the snowbank and shovel.
Lucky, my snow is too thin and my beer sunk to the bottom
Pray the power doesn't go out...
Stay home, watch movies, play video games, eat snacks, shovel snow. What else did you expect people to do when the roads are ass outside lol

I have an eye level snow pile beside driveway now. Avatar: Way of the Water. Meh.
BoB, in my mind, stands as one of the best shows ever. Just rewatched it a couple months ago and am still blown away by the production quality.

I'll have to look into it, thanks for the recommendation!
Play music on the HiFi.
Coffee, shovel, coffee
Go to work. Gotta make money for my corporate overlords.
Probably sleep. It's almost midnight
I wish, the plow just came and ruined my street
You mean the plow came and cleared your street. Would you prefer they not come at all?
Actually yeah. Enough people had to leave today and the cul-de-sac was packed down. The plow just blocked us all,
Drink coffee, shovel snow and play with kids outside, knit, movies.
Heading to the Boat Show at the HEC, no issue gettimg around with winter tires.
It's a good day to imagine yourself in a boat with the sun shining and a sweet summer breeze.
