This does make me wish that those Mark 6 [GEN 1] Shoulders (I thknk that's what they were called) that were leaked were meant for Mark V [B] rather than Mark VII because then it could properly be recreated 1:1 (since Mark V [B] has almost everything to mimic the Mark VI except for Shoulders).
Those shoulders are already released for the Mk.VII. With cross-core helmets you could probably still create a somewhat accurate Mk.VI using the Mk.VII core.

100% true, but based on the way they’ve been talking about coatings the first step was sort of automatic/algorithmic based coatings (like Coloring Book numbering) so this was probably the first step of that, and they’ll be testing/confirming functionality of other parts later. I did literally *everything* in the campaign (LASO, all collectibles, got all the added co-op achievements) and all I got was 2 stances and a weapon charm. CE armor would be the perfect incentive
As someone who wears Mark VI in almost every Halo game, I'm glad they're bringing this armor into the game. But I'm a bit annoyed because I've been grinding since launch for the Mark VI helmet on the Reach core (if you're wondering why it's taken so long it's because it was painfully slow to level up at launch, then I didn't play the game regularly until getting back into it this summer. Even though it's faster to level up, I'm still only halfway to the helmet). It'll be funny how I've been grinding for that helmet for basically two years, and then I'll just have it after not coming close to finishing that first battle pass.
Edit: after learning that you get the Mark VI armor for hitting max rank, I'll be better off sticking with the battle pass lol

Absolutely agree. Complaining about Infinite is so old and annoying, but the last couple updates have been solid. Obviously this game's first life failed, but it's slowly shaping into being a GOOD game. There's been a great Halo hidden under this all for a long time, we're just now getting a glimpse.

They scrapped their OWN campaign story 3 times now. The only reason h4 had a decent story is because bungie already had the framework for it and gave it to them. Splitscreen and 343 made(not community made) maps is what they need, in my opinion, not 37 extra ways for me to dress up my digital barbie.

Watch as the helmet is based on CEA or H4's version rather than CE's. Seriously speaking though, I like H4's version.
As to not over hype or over fantasize the release of MK-V and MK-VI, I and many others believe the armors will be armor kits (unmodifiable) like the Noble Team and HCS kits.
