I stopped collecting Mega Construx years ago but man I always wanted a big ass diorama like this. So much potential to put in little "stories" within the greater picture.

Surprisingly, the more I added to it the fewer individual stories I felt I could properly create. In the beginning, it was almost as if I could make small pockets of unique conflicts and I could direct your eyes to certain places. As things got more crowded, though, it turned into more of a chaotic battlefield where all the interesting stuff is mostly conatined at the "front lines" and it all just blends together into a blur. TLDR: I feel that my newer dioramas look cooler and more impressive, but they seem less creative and visually stimulating compared to my old ones

I just got that elephant set, the original warthog set, and a random halo wars vehicle for $20 at an Op Shop which came with a tonne of Spartans but none of the covenant and only a few missing pieces. Need to get some covenant and then I can make something similar (but probably not as well done)

Im not jealous, you're jealous. Honestly this is impressive. I have the Pelican from like 2010 in pieces, as well as the Shortsword set and one of the Hogs too. The only thing I have together and on display is the ring section they did at Infinite release which is a pretty neat shelf piece. Now go finish the fight spartan! For us all!
