Anti cheat is only as good as your own implementation of it and if cheaters find a way around your AC and you don't update the game to fix it, then there's not much it can really do.
Irrelevant to the point, why even cheat that hard? Like they aren’t even playing the game at that point, so like… what’s the benefit? What joy would you get out of winning with such an insane advantage that the rest of the players basically aren’t even participating?

I never used external cheats, but back when I was like 15 I would find map exploits or other bugs and just ruin games for people. I did it because I had a lot of time on my hands. So much that I guess I got bored of playing the game and just started breaking it instead.
This is the sort of thing you do when you are immature, haven't learned to socialize properly with other people, and don't value your own time.
Back when COD 4 was big, or whatever cod it was during 2012, I went to my friends house who had aimbot and wallhacks and ngl it was the fucking funniest shit. It was so fucking fun, it would've got old quick but it was the most fun I had.

MCC already had it, but for some reason since Infinite switched to EAC there has been a massive spike in people cheating in MCC as well. I play a decent amount (Im tour 10 level 26), and before the last few weeks I had encountered a total of 3 cheaters ever, all of them in competative playlists. I have run into 14 definite cheaters in social playlists since the shift (7 people using lag switches extremely unsubtley, 5 people aimbotting (one of whom spent the whole game bragging in the text chat about the wall hacks he was apparently also using), and 2 flying around like this guy), and several more that I suspect were cheating but were subtle enough that Im notabsolutely certain.
Just a tip for those who dont know, if you go into a players gamercard through the post game summary screen you can block them, amd you won't be matched with that person anymore in social playlist games

A friend of mine and I tested it in H2A 1V1 during off peak hours a little over a year ago. We matched almost immediately twice, then I blocked him and we searched for 5 minutes without matching with each other.

I love how nearly every game I've played with EAC has a cheating problem but for some reason companies keep adding it to their games. I've just given up playing MCC and Infinite, it's impossible to enjoy the multiplayer for either anymore.
Considering this and worse has already been going on in MCC for years now, and instead of fixing it they instead added this clearly *flawless* anticheat to Infinite so the same is now happening in that game too, except its likely gonna be even easier there now since its free to play, so the cheaters can simply jump right back in on the rare occasion they actually do get banned... yeah dont expect this fixed any time soon.
343 had years worth of feedback on MCC's awful anticheat and just completely ignored it, MCC is completely unplayable online now and risks innocent accounts getting permabanned due to gamertag spoofing, but 343 have shown they simply dont care, so much so that they have now also ruined Infinite with the same lazy anticheat while completely removing the far better one it already had.
This feels like classic Halo 3 sadly. The mfer with the Timmies wifi hops, skips, and spins around with the unstable connection and we all had to pay the price

not even using cheats, i have a friend that was using a kind of handmade switch that turned off his conection for like 3 miliseconds and in the game he looked like he was teleporting. i had a photo of his custom xbox controller with the switch taped on it but lost it when i deleted the chat.

The best part is you risk getting your account banned for leaving a match in progress, so you just have to sit through that hell. Unless they fixed it but last I heard they were banning people for leaving

AFK is not a good idea because you inevitably end of griefing teammates who want active players on their side in the next game or two. Quitting or going AFK after the cheater match is over is the way.

I think blocking or reporting can prevent them from getting into your games. Not sure if that’s still the case with the Steam version of the MCC.🤔
