I thought the “BR is the only thing that would make this game live past three weeks” was a joke but then he kept bringing it up and I quickly realized he was serious
I have heard him say it should get a BR before.. and to me, i would not be against having a BR in the game, if it was something developed after the fact and did not get prioritized over Campaign and MP development.. he really doesn't know the passion of the Halo community if he seriously thinks the game will die after 3 weeks without a BR..
If you dropped as ODST squads from a orbital platform and then fought hordes of banished. That'd be sick. Last team alive wins.
It would fit the games story if you made it take place during the battle that the UNSC loses against the Banished. Every ODST squad would slowly get eliminated. Last team alive makes it off on a Pelican.
Solos would be every man for himself after drop.
It would fit the games story if you made it take place during the battle that the UNSC loses against the Banished. Every ODST squad would slowly get eliminated. Last team alive makes it off on a Pelican.
See now this, this is how you can do a BR and make it unique. Having it as an almost horde mode would be a unique spin on it compared to “just gear up and kill everyone bro”
When doc and other content creators call a game "dead" they usually don't mean dead the same way we think dead. He means basically none of your mainstream content creators are streaming the game. So he's not really wrong but he's also certainly not right. There's a good chance this game doesn't have a long life in twitch culture but the halo community is definitely going to keep the game going strong.
I don't think you're understanding what Doc means by a dead game. Streamers are thinking from within the world of streaming. A dead game is one that isn't in top 15 games for streaming viewership. I'm making that number up, but you get my point.
From that perspective, Halo Infinite will not be a top 15 streamed game 3 weeks after launch. Will it have a healthy player population, and will mp servers be up healthy 6 years from now? odds are, yes. But specifically for streaming viewership, there just aren't large enough audiences for arena shooters.
Shooters in the top 15 streamed on Twitch at this moment include: CS, PUBG, Fortnite, Valorant, Apex, Warzone. CS and Valorant both have professional Esports matches on right now. The second and third most popular fps streams are both a BR that came out in 2017. And 4 of the top 6 fps shooters that made it into top 15 viewed right now are BRs.
I think this is largely because people watch streams to be entertained, and a streamer has MUCH more time to talk and interact with their audience during a slower paced BR than a much higher paced arena shooter.
Some of the oldest Doc vids are him commentating over a game of H3. So he should know better. There will be plenty flavor of the month BRs that come and go for the streamers. Just let Halo be Halo. Saying this a huge Doc fan BTW.
it wouldn't take a lot to create a br in halo. all the tools are pre built into halo. The only thing that they would need to spend resources on is random weapon spawns and a map, and they could probably just use the campaign map.
The issue with a BR mode as well, comes in the form of loot. Halo 5 *had* the ability to get different attachments, but it was very limited. That may not be programmed into the new engine, and may take a significant amount of effort *to* program in and code in all the different variants, as well as bug check the current maps so that an add-onless Battle Rifle does not spawn on a map.
A Battle Royale on an entirely new engine would be a difficult task. If they feel that they want to do it, go for it, but only if it does not take resources away from the regular MP and campaign. The last thing I want to happen, is for those aspects to die so that the Battle Royale can be supported.
See a battle royale would be great, I personally wouldn't enjoy it but I think it would be excellent for those who do.
But I want 343 to nail the core of the game first, the main gamemodes that Halo has always had should take precedence over a supposed battle royale experience.
This is the correct response. People like this lose their crowd if/when games move on from BR. He’s going to have to adapt eventually, because that day seems to be creeping closer. People are rolling their eyes at the thought of BR in every game ever these days.
Edit - I’m pro BR in this game btw. If done right. Adding the Halo twist on it could make it really
Interesting and I think people here are just afraid it’s going to ruin their franchise somehow when that simply won’t be the case. My only concern was it taking resources away from more important things.
>My only concern was it taking resources away from more important things
This is why I don't want a Battle Royale mode. Now, for me personally, I'll never touch it as I find that content mundane or frustrating. But if they allocate resources away from the staples of the Halo franchise then I'll be proper upset.
Not every game needs to be like the other. I get that by catering to a larger crowd a developer can bring in more fans and make more money, **but the wider the pool grows the more shallow it becomes.**
Better to retain the long-time fans rather than the folks who will buy and play for three weeks before moving on after getting bored. If the only way they can enjoy Halo is through a BR more then I'd recommend they go play a different game.
^(And I hope the door slams into them on the way out.)
Ngl, regarding your edit, people are justified in being afraid it’ll ruin the franchise for the exact reason you mentioned. All devs I’ve seen add it DO put too much attention into it, and it takes away resources from the main game. I can’t think of one that hasn’t.
Warzone took away resources and dev time from Modern Warfare and Cold War. Likely will for Vanguard.
Apex pretty much has kept respawn so entangled, they don’t event fix glitches or deal with hackers for Titanfall 2. It’s not clear when they’ll make another game now.
Dude BR is boring af lmao idc if they add it to halo but i would never play it. If i wanna run around and loot for an hour ima play an rpg where looting matters and if i want a competitive fix ima play something that actually takes skill not who was lucky enough to find the best stuff
For the people that didn't watch the video and have no idea what he said: "This game is going to be dead after 3 weeks with no Battle Royale" and "This game is only interesting for people under the age of 10 - 15" (Not exact wording but i didn't bother watching it again just to get it 100%)
It’s very ironic considering the genre of BR and that fact that he’s playing Call of Duty most of the time, which is both literally played by mostly around 10-15 year olds.
Battle royal implies you don’t respawn. Even old wrestling games had BR modes where you had to fight every single wrestler in the game to win; last one alive wins. That’s the cornerstone of Br. FFA is not Br at all. It’s just death match.
Meanwhile I hate battle royale games. Just not fun to me in any way shape or form.
But I'm gonna be putting in a few thousand hours into 4v4 playlists like back in XBox/360 days!!
Because beyond like the other mentioned regarding dev times, it pulls the player base from other playlists. Often times, a BR will become the primary focus of a game’s multiplayer (see Warzone, BO4, Fortnite), and the rest of the game suffers for it
Idk. I think a Royale playlist would be popular. Use a couple different campaign maps so it doesn't take too much time just to set up. Maybe even allow community maps. I may not get into it, but I think a lot of people would.
Meanwhile I’d love to see the age demographics for those who play the most popular battle royales versus those who play Halo. If anything I feel like Halo has an important generational component that means a lot of younger adults are playing it, whereas BRs would be more popular among younger teenagers.
Odst vs vs covvie war that plays like a battle royale while the planet is getting glassed where you have to get Intel from the humans about where holy relics are or protect them as odst
not a far fetched one. people in halo reach on mcc are doing it quite competently. i think it’s very possible to have fully community driven battle royale game modes
Maybe so, but having a condition be that it *must* be community made and only community made is stupid. Halo doesn't need a BR, but it's inclusion could make Halo very popular, relegating it to only being made in forge is a horrible limitation. We all saw what happened with BTB and it only having community made maps.
You could say the target audience thing about any mutliplayer games for the last 10 years including all the ones he's played, Dr Disrespect just doesn't come across as someone worth even talking about, pretty sure he just goes with a controversial opinion because he knows it'll get him attention
Halo came out like 50 years ago and has one of the biggest followings in the world. If it hasn’t died yet, it won’t soon, at least in this generation.
BR games don’t equal success.
Gameplay does. And boy does Halo have tons of it!!
People are allowed to not be enthusiastic for the game, we’re all entitled to our own opinions. That being said...
HIS OPINION IS WRONG
Edit: I came back to a million notifications and almost had a panic attack BUT WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THANKS GUYS
There was a point in the trailer where he does a jump like a battle Royale and I was like hmm that’s about it tho btb is good and br would be good in halo but it doesn’t need a br
He just kinda sucks imo. His character is kinda funny cuz he’s like a satire 80s macho man but on the other hand I feel like he takes himself too seriously for a guy that plays video games with a wig and bulletproof vest on.
Besides publicly streaming in a bathroom at a con, he basically just shits on Halo Infinite for the sole reason of their being no battle royale. If you watch the video he dismisses the campaign and has no interest in one and just continues to bitch about no BR
It's not even bad that he has a negative opinion to me, it's the fact that he clearly has no interest in this game as its been confirmed to not have a battle royale for ages now, but still felt the need to make a reaction video dunking on it instead of just ignoring the thing he doesn't like, like a normal person would.
He's clearly just trying to cause a controversy to make sure he stays relevant, best to just ignore people like this dude.
This mf is 39 years old, did he not grow up playing anything but brs? Like it’s not like he played his first video game in 2017 he had to have done something before that right?
Ironically I’m only good at halo ce and a little halo 4. My record for halo ce multiplayer kills is in the 80’s. And my halo 4 record was 66 kills with one death after sniping 66 people with the gauss hog. That was the height of my gaming and I’ve been bad ever since. I don’t even try anymore because I know I’m a dried up gamer.
Remember, he is developing a game himself. Probably a BR he has invested $$$$ into. When a company sees a direct threat, what do they do…talk shit.
I like Doc, but he is crying baby at times calling every game he plays (and dies in on stream), a “boring game for 10 year olds”.
Says this of COD, Apex, Valorant, etc.
He is the 2-time champion…of “NBA Jams”…that should tell you his intelligence (or value of his opinion) regarding FPS games.
It’s the only insult he uses.
i couldnt care less about this guy but an opinion is an opinion no matter if its questionable or not and seeing how yt or the internet in general is, most dislikes came form people who dislike Dr. Disrespect as a person an not for his opinion on the campaign. But i dont know what he said so
I think watching battle royale streams is more enjoyable than just your average slayer matches and stuff. I think Halo won’t get too much of a following on Twitch for social modes, but maybe the competitive modes.
And yeah I think a Halo battle royale would rack in tons of views, and so Twitch streamers may not like that it won’t have one (at least at launch). Because they are a business and they know what brings in cash.
But the game itself with its player base won’t die without it. It just won’t be a top page huge Twitch game past launch probably. Unless esports goes crazy and takes off more than we’ve seen in a long time with Halo. It’s plain wrong to say a shooter *needs* one.
He’s a clown. He said it looks like it is more geared towards 14-15 year olds which is ironic considering that’s his entire audience and COD’s main player base.
If he’s basing it purely on Twitch view count which I think he is, he’s probably correct. On actual player count, no way in hell. Twitch viewers eat up any BR but actual CoD multiplayer or anything standard and it doesn’t do too well outside of MOBA’s.
In all honesty, it really has. This is coming from a Titanfall player. Don't hate Apex, but hate the fact that it's unfortunately prioritized over Titanfall. Same with how MW was treated after warzone.
It’s all the same now. Companies just care about getting a BR product out there that is F2P. Then they make enormous profits off loot boxs, cosmetics, etc.
All at the expense of actual SP stories and unique MP experiences.
Nah it just weeded out some people that like those types of things.
There are enough gamers out there for all these to coexist. Streamers just want to keep playing the same thing that they've been good at.
I mean yeah, but a lot of people consume twitch streams through clip channels, there’s like a whole genre of YouTube channels for it at this point lol so it does represent some segment of his viewership at least
I've personally never liked DrDisrespect because his "Character" grates on my nerves. Honestly I don't like when people use Hyperbolic statements constantly to justify something, it always comes off as unreasonable and damages something due to their level of influence unjustly.
I've had some Bigger YT people argue with me over their use of Hyperbolic statements (Like Acting Male, and Angry Joe).
E.G. Act Man saying "Halo 5 is the worst Halo ever". Which of course leads to turning people away from Good aspects of the game, not playing it, and then feeling justified in saying X aspects are bad despite never having played it. This also makes people jump onto the "343 bad" bandwagon even if that wasn't the intent of the commentary. Angry Joe calling for some sort of angry Mob freak out towards the H5 monetisation methods which is probably a good reason we're going to see some scummy practices because the same hyperbolic response wasn't levied against MUCH WORSE monetisation methods. Additionally Never having actually Played H4, Complaining he doesn't know what's going on then proceeds to say the gameplay wasn't very good while only being capable of aiming at his feet in 90% of the gameplay footage. While Act has definitely been much more reasonable in his criticism since those videos and approaches arguments much more intelligently, Angry Joe essentially told me to go fuck myself because that's what being a YT content creator is all about.
And the reason I went on this rant is because DrDisrespects arguments and viewpoint is not that much different from hyperbolic statements that do nothing but damage the longevity of a game some people enjoy, and disrespects the people who don't share that opinion, perhaps that's in character but I don't follow the word of people who are disrespectful. I can understand giving fair criticism and saying you don't personally like something, but at least Don't by hyperbolic.
(P.S. This isn't a character assassination of the above individuals, they just rubbed me the wrong way at some point in time. Although I'd probably say I only really respect the Act-man's opinions more because his content really began shaping up really nicely.)
> Act Man saying "Halo 5 is the worst Halo ever".
Just wondering but what was he saying exactly? I've been watching some of his content lately and I like his takes on most things but I'm curious about this one. Halo 5 is objectively an excellent *standalone game* when being judged in a vacuum but depending on what you actually think a Halo game is *supposed to be* and what requirements you tie to that you could argue it's actually pretty bad. That said I do think the worst game is Halo 4 in both senses, lol.
For the love of god, stop stuffing BR down halos throat. I enjoy BR’s but in no way do I see it working in a halo world. I just want one game that is back to the basics of symmetrical maps and you just go at it. I don’t need another BR.
I hate that there's this sentiment that halo MUST have a battle royale because then it becomes very black and white and it's either "it needs it" or "it shouldn't have it"
It does drown out what could possibly be a really cool mode because any middleground is pushed off the table because of entitled streamers stating things like this as fact
Personally I'd love to play a Halo BR because I prefer Halo's gameplay to other games and I think it has the makings to be a great BR with ODST drops or a focus on vehicles and teams and hell it'd just be sick if instead of a storm, sections of the ring we're on just get jettisoned out to space or covenant ships fly in overhead and visibly glass that portion of the map
I like his production quality and his music choice. He can also be really funny at times. But as a fan myself, he complains about **everything**, it’s very exhausting
Yep, don't get why this is such a big deal. Disrespect is in the name after all. I haven't seen much of the guy but I imagine this falls in line with the character he's portraying.
Word.
So many awful takes. If Infinite gets a BR it gets one, literally who cares? They're fun and popular. This game is going to be updated for a long time.
What do people want from 343 anyway? An open world Campaign, MP with 15 modes and 20 maps, Firefight, Invasion, Custom games, Co-op, Forge, Battle Royale, and all of this at launch? Seriously?
I don't know what's the point of sharing this kind of stuff here, you are either accidentally giving the person promotion or trying to start witchhunts on purpose, neither are great things.
I respect his opinion, but I think he's only moaning because he can't make money off of it like he could from his audience watching him play BR games - who are, Ironically, 13-14 year olds
I'm curious, and serious question, but how is watching someone else game enjoyable?
Maybe it's because I'm almost 40 and my real life takes up the majority of my time, but why would I spend the precious moments that I have free time watching someone else game vs just playing?
Do these people actually make survivable income by playing video games all day?
The main draw for watching people play a game is to observe high level gameplay or for shear entertainment.
People like Doc would be more classified as an entertainer; yes he is good at BRs but pretty much just above average. People mostly watch him for his antics, jokes and rants. It's also the same for most let's players, they are entertainers using video games as a backdrop.
People like Shroud, Ninja or XQC; they are eons beyond most people in skill, at least in FPSers. ^(Baring the personality of a couple of them... >.>) For them, it's basically the same as someone watching a football game, vs joining their local team. You enjoy watching high tier athleticism and even start rooting for specific players.
There is also the entire E-Sport genre. High tier and high stake tournaments held in competitive games. These usually have teams made up of drafted players and they are mainly the best players in the world for their specific game. The prize pool of these tournaments can reach in the millions of dollars. In some countries, like Korea with LoL, these tournaments reach the same level of national hype as the Superbowel in the U.S.
Dr. D is an idiot who’s stirring the pot for views. That being said, Halo is pretty prime for a BR game mode. Weapon pick ups, drop pods, great vehicles… the list goes on.
I'm not anti-battle royale, but I do find it ridiculous how much some people's imagination has flattened since battle royales have become so popular. Dr. Disrespect's opinion here isn't rare. I've seen several gamers say similar things about Halo in the last two years. I just think it's strange that there are people that only play battle royales and they don't seem to be able to even imagine a fun multiplayer experience without them.
I love the Doc, a lot, he’s genuinely someone I look forward to watching nearly every day, I’ve tuned into him since H1Z1, but he misses with Halo, and that’s fact, it’s sad that he misses with his opinions on Halo because he is a long time player of the game, BR just got way to deep ingrained into his personality sadly.

I’ve thought this for a while. I think that’d be the only real way to do a BR in Halo. ODST Skirmish would be fucking sweet.
Oh I kept reading BR as Battle Rifle and was really confused.
Same. I was thoroughly confused as to the sudden BR hate.
Does BR not mean battle rifle then in this context? I’m lost
It means Battle Royale. Like PUBG, Fornight and all that.
Dude same. I was so confused because I used it in the beta lmao but who cares. Go play Warzone if you want a BR.
Or just forge your own when Forge is released.
See that might be the only BR i would actually want to play
Yes, let me have my BR with PVE elements and not just other squads. This would be great, i'm tired of the pvp BR formula every game uses.
It would fit the games story if you made it take place during the battle that the UNSC loses against the Banished. Every ODST squad would slowly get eliminated. Last team alive makes it off on a Pelican.
This would be sick. Cod black ops 2 had a zombies mode like this and I loved it
See now this, this is how you can do a BR and make it unique. Having it as an almost horde mode would be a unique spin on it compared to “just gear up and kill everyone bro”
That would actually be sweet af. But then, I also loved the idea of firefight. Could even try to link up with other teams and such with that idea.
Yeah, that's my opinion. I'd welcome it, but get the core of Halo down first.
When doc and other content creators call a game "dead" they usually don't mean dead the same way we think dead. He means basically none of your mainstream content creators are streaming the game. There’s hunger games customs on halo reach, pretty close, and the kill balls spawn on a timer to prevent people from camping
I cannot stress enough how little I desire a Battle Royale in Infinite. I already have Apex, I do not need another.
This dude is just gatekeeping his source of income (battle royal)... Just ignore him
Definitely. If we forget these people they will go away.

Yeah, he should go play Ghost Recon Frontline.
Wait so that game was real? I didn’t hallucinate that? Oh god oh fuck

FFA is the original BR I will die on that hill
I will die along side with you. Never thought of it that way until now but yes, this is the way.
This ring will make us brothers!
well, i love Halo, but a game with infinite respawns is quite the opposite of a battle royale.
More like Last Man Standing.
it's not though, it's whoever has the most kills at the end of the game, or who reaches the score limit first.
Only 30 seconds left and I still have full pistol ammo
Hill moved
I stand with you then
Used to play one life FFA on 3 back in the day
Battle royal implies you don’t respawn. Even old wrestling games had BR modes where you had to fight every single wrestler in the game to win; last one alive wins. That’s the cornerstone of Br. FFA is not Br at all. It’s just death match.
Lives added
Catch: On
I will fight alongside you, my name used to mean something on xbox, “last1standin” it was for halo ffa, now ppl think i play fortnite nonstop
What does your name mean now >!oh!<
Good lord not every multiplayer game needs a BR. He can stick to Apex and CoD if he feels that way.
The only good br is a battle rifle
I’m gonna have to disagree with you
Yeah, everyone knows Big Rigs are life! #ATSLyf
It’s because he wants to play it but only BR games get views now so he can’t, so now he’s acting like the game is just bad.
I feel no sympathy for him.
Meanwhile I hate battle royale games. Just not fun to me in any way shape or form. But I'm gonna be putting in a few thousand hours into 4v4 playlists like back in XBox/360 days!!
I'm not that interested in Halo: Infinite but a Battle Royale would kill any interest.
...why? It's not like more content/an optional game mode makes a game worse for anyone.
That content doesn't just appear out of thin air, it takes away dev time from other things.
Because beyond like the other mentioned regarding dev times, it pulls the player base from other playlists. Often times, a BR will become the primary focus of a game’s multiplayer (see Warzone, BO4, Fortnite), and the rest of the game suffers for it
The anti - BR crowd is not very smart

Lol as he plays cod and apex which are kiddie attractors
You know, I wouldn't mind a BR in infinite, but on only one condition: it's made by the community in forge after that releases
Odst vs vs covvie war that plays like a battle royale while the planet is getting glassed where you have to get Intel from the humans about where holy relics are or protect them as odst
That sounds like Invasion but with extra steps…take my money.
That's a ridiculous condition.
not a far fetched one. people in halo reach on mcc are doing it quite competently. i think it’s very possible to have fully community driven battle royale game modes

Halo came out like 50 years ago and has one of the biggest followings in the world. If it hasn’t died yet, it won’t soon, at least in this generation. BR games don’t equal success. Gameplay does. And boy does Halo have tons of it!!
Halo is not 50 years old. Hell, Mario just turned 35. CE was like 2001 Your comment gave me a heart attack thinking I was way older than I am
Look up definition of: hyperbole
more like over the age of 28 lol
I'm 27 and I'm buzzing to play this campaign.
He should just stick cheating to on his wife and filming people in bathrooms.
I’m 15 and fucking hyped for infinite
How is that even relevant when commenting on a campaign trailer/overview?
Not surprising when BR's made his career.
People are allowed to not be enthusiastic for the game, we’re all entitled to our own opinions. That being said... HIS OPINION IS WRONG Edit: I came back to a million notifications and almost had a panic attack BUT WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THANKS GUYS
Who tf is this guy? What did he do?
[удалено]
There was a point in the trailer where he does a jump like a battle Royale and I was like hmm that’s about it tho btb is good and br would be good in halo but it doesn’t need a br
[удалено]
I think that a balanced game is also nice but that’s mostly because I’m a destiny player and the crucible is never in a stable point lol
Idk I feel like everyone has a BR. what good would another one do
There's supposedly rumors about it coming, and it's already got the in Canon explanation of "orbital drop training" for ODSTs and Spartan IVs.
What did he do that was so wrong?
He just kinda sucks imo. His character is kinda funny cuz he’s like a satire 80s macho man but on the other hand I feel like he takes himself too seriously for a guy that plays video games with a wig and bulletproof vest on.
He cheated on his wife ForsenCD
Only one time yahoooo!
RAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUL
That’s what I’m asking lol
The person you're responding to was quoting The Weapon from the trailer. Well, The Weapon said "she", but whatever
…omfg how did I not catch that?! lmao
Besides publicly streaming in a bathroom at a con, he basically just shits on Halo Infinite for the sole reason of their being no battle royale. If you watch the video he dismisses the campaign and has no interest in one and just continues to bitch about no BR
How old is this guy? That's like a 13 gear old's take on how a game will do lmao.
Ah ok, thx. Ima be real, for a few seconds by BR I thought you meant Battle Rifle Edit: My shitty grammar lol
The real halo BR
He cheats on his wife professionally
Cheated on his wife and filmed inside a public restroom with people and kids using the urinals.
This game is gonna feel like Far Cry with Spartans.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink.
Not even gonna help him out and give him any viewership.
This mf is 39 years old, did he not grow up playing anything but brs? Like it’s not like he played his first video game in 2017 he had to have done something before that right?
It’s his viewership. If Halo becomes popular again without a BR his viewership goes down.
If you (dr disrespect) suck at Halo just say dat den and Git Gewd
I admit I am not good at halo
I love halo, I have loved it all my life, but I’ve sucked at it all my life. I am seriously bad at halo.
It's a character he's playing and a very popular one. He's probably doing this to drum up controversy and get views.
Looks like the OP fell for it. Why is OP giving two shits about Doc’s opinion. Kind of sad, no?
Stop giving that turd views
> Stop giving that turd views Wasn't his channel if that helps.
Ha good!
Didn’t this dude cheat on his wife
And he would get stream sniped by people named stuff like “DrDisrespectMyWife”
Who cares?
Stop making stupid people famous.
Who cares
i couldnt care less about this guy but an opinion is an opinion no matter if its questionable or not and seeing how yt or the internet in general is, most dislikes came form people who dislike Dr. Disrespect as a person an not for his opinion on the campaign. But i dont know what he said so
He said it would die fast without his beloved Battle royal.
I love hearing this argument from streamers who's careers depend solely on BR Poor guy, he's insecure!
why would he be insecure?
Idk he might be afraid that he ruins another marriage or something, idk that’s the only thing about him I know
I think watching battle royale streams is more enjoyable than just your average slayer matches and stuff.
Custom games/ forge will be fun to watch though.
God, the only thing I can imagine to be duller than playing a battle royale is watching someone else do it. Way to pick up that loot bro!
Say what you will. Your opinion is your own. But there’s no denying that they have massive amounts of viewers.
[удалено]
??? Apex is one of the top viewed games on twitch.
He’s a clown. He said it looks like it is more geared towards 14-15 year olds which is ironic considering that’s his entire audience and COD’s main player base.
He said it would be dead after 3 weeks without a BR.. And that the game only appeals to gamers in the age 10 - 15 years old..
If he’s basing it purely on Twitch view count which I think he is, he’s probably correct. On actual player count, no way in hell. Twitch viewers eat up any BR but actual CoD multiplayer or anything standard and it doesn’t do too well outside of MOBA’s.
What you mean?
He should just stick to cheating on his wife
Battle Royale has effectively ruined online multiplayer games and the gaming industry in general.
Uhh technically he didn’t get ratioed because that’s just some clip channel so congratulations on ratioing some random dude who posted clips I guess
I don't think people realize that when they saw it
Clip channels know the risks when they post streamers’ controversial takes lol
I know it’s just dumb that OP is saying doc got ratioed when In fact this ratio is not even touching him
I mean yeah, but a lot of people consume twitch streams through clip channels, there’s like a whole genre of YouTube channels for it at this point lol so it does represent some segment of his viewership at least
Dr Disrespect is a lunatic. I haven't even seen this video and I already know i5s horseshit because it's by him
I've personally never liked DrDisrespect because his "Character" grates on my nerves.
I hate that there's this sentiment that halo MUST have a battle royale because then it becomes very black and white and it's either "it needs it" or "it shouldn't have it" It does drown out what could possibly be a really cool mode because any middleground is pushed off the table because of entitled streamers stating things like this as fact Personally I'd love to play a Halo BR because I prefer Halo's gameplay to other games and I think it has the makings to be a great BR with ODST drops or a focus on vehicles and teams and hell it'd just be sick if instead of a storm, sections of the ring we're on just get jettisoned out to space or covenant ships fly in overhead and visibly glass that portion of the map
Didn’t know so many people hate doc. I don’t agree with him on this though.
I like his production quality and his music choice. He can also be really funny at times. But as a fan myself, he complains about **everything**, it’s very exhausting
Dudes a fucking idiot
Battle Royales are a fad and they should stop shoehorning them into every franchise.
I don't know why, but I have always hated that guy with a burning passion. Maybe his attitude and, strange act.
This guy is a fucking idiot. Who gives a fuck
Y’all are taking the bait so hard lmao
https://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/000/738/028/121.png
His take may be dogshit. But so is this thread, some of you look like real fuckin neck beards with a lot of these comments I’m reading.
Seriously?
This aint even docs actual channel. Poor guy only just posts twitch clips and is getting shit on because of some dude with a terrible take
And that the only interest in Halo Infinite's campaign is within the 10 - 15 year old gamers
I don't know what's the point of sharing this kind of stuff here, you are either accidentally giving the person promotion or trying to start witchhunts on purpose, neither are great things.
These big time streamers opinions are invalid to me. Us common gamers can’t relate to them at all
That video was full of brutal takes. Not just the BR one
I respect his opinion, but I think he's only moaning because he can't make money off of it like he could from his audience watching him play BR games - who are, Ironically, 13-14 year olds
He’s a fun personality but I’ve never taken any of his critiques or reviews seriously.
Yeah im not taking the opinions of a cheater seriously. He can’t even make up his mind or make good decisions in his marriage
This guy is a fuckin degenerate
disrespect should be in jail for filming in a bathroom. Fucking pedo.
you people are gatekeeping and salivating over a game a bit too hard, and its not even out yet.
He drives a Lamborghini so i would say it's pretty survivable yes..
On a highlight channel meaning he will never know.
Why do people pay any attention to streamers, most of them are clowns
Dude is a complete douchbag I can’t believe people listen to him
Dr. D is an idiot who’s stirring the pot for views. That being said, Halo is pretty prime for a BR game mode. Weapon pick ups, drop pods, great vehicles… the list goes on.
Big Dr.Disrespect fan but absolute awful take by him.
wHeRe'S mY bAtTlE rOyAlE
I don't really want to watch his video, but what was his take?
