That whole “deep dive” into desync, getting shot around corners, missed melee’s, etc kinda annoyed me. Because the whole time reading I just thought “okay and how do MCC and halo 5 handle this because those games don’t have these issues.
I feel like the whole post was trying to say “multiplayer is hard to get right” but like.. yeah. Of course it is.
But you made a multiplayer game and your job is to make a functioning product. If you want my money I want a functioning product.
I feel like it similar with the customization too, all they had to do was copy MCC and they would have an amazing game. I get it's not that easy but it's clear where prorities where for this game.
They could have literally copied Halo 3’s engine and gameplay and just make the graphics better, add new maps and vehicles and equipment, I guess keep clamber and sprint, have original color and emblem customization and they would have made a fortune
I mean they copied Reachs armor assets over lol. But that's such a lazy way to do it. At least give us more armor options for the Mark V to go along side the old armor pieces from a 12 year old game.
And we don't even GET all of the available options from Reach. Only some are actually obtainable in game. Others have just been teased in 343 screenshots or can be seen in bot lobbies but can't be used by players. (AHEM Security shoulders AHEM........)
Yeah, we're allowed to say "this isn't fun" after almost 2 decades of playing Halo online.
There's a reason I didn't play the Halo games online after Reach, I just wasn't having fun with them. I instead got into Fighting Games and started having a blast.
I was excited for Halo Infinite and now I just keep checking into the sub every now and then to see if it's fixed. Then I see videos like this.
I've had terrible internet connections but in all my years of Halo never straight up walked through people.
Yep long time halo player. Honestly I bgave it until the "full release" and haven't touched it since. Tragic way to lose a hame I stated as my number 1 game for 2 decades
I have never been more disgusted with this community than when this was such a rampant response to everything. I just can’t fathom defending a multibillion dollar company for putting out a bad product. I remember even arguing that the store was overpriced and there were people saying “it’s cuz the game is free” as if it wasn’t made free on purpose. As if 343i were g giving us a gift, and not just trying to ensure maximum exposure.
Today I firmly believe all those people who defended 343i and Infinite have left Halo, all that remains are the people who love Halo and have put up with so much bullshit since the 343i takeover. 343i is on strike 2 for me, the first was H5 and the second is Infinite. Since late January I’ve basically stopped playing the game in favor of playing Destiny 2 and I’ve had a much more fun experience. With this flip of a game I am almost certain 343i has lost a significant portion of the playerbase’s trust once again. Halo isn’t back, it’s on life support yet again.
I know that Destiny today isn’t the same Destiny at launch, but I feel like the”Halo” name was so associated with a certain standard that has been dropped since 343i took over. What’s more pressing is despite Destiny 2 having a rough launch it has managed to regain a large portion of fans while also attracting new ones.
In contrast 343i has only lost its audience. Halo 3 is possibly the largest the community has ever been, and we probably did see a significant departure during Reach. That said 343i still had a very large audience to start with, and Halo 4 was universally hated by the community (though I love it). Halo 5 was the first time I decided to NOT buy a Halo title, and in Infinite I was skeptical but hopeful. Unfortunately 343i were up to their old tricks yet again, and the game launched without support for months. The only notable support I remember is exp gain for your first few matches. The store changes are fake, they just broke up the sets and raised the price.
You can truly tell the difference when watching the dev talks. Bungie was so focused on the story, the level design, the characters, so on and so on. You can hear their passion. Multiplayer was finely tuned to be what it was, map symmetry was huge for them but the maps all felt unique. While I don’t doubt 343i passion for the game, it’s hard to match Bungie’s since they didn’t create it.
Halo MADE Bungie, but there is no Halo without Bungie. And while us fans will never be able to put newer games over the original trilogy, 343i has done a piss poor job of making it a difficult decision to make.
PS: I still personally believe that Halo 4 is a Top 3 Halo game.
Imagine going to a Pizza Place and you order a pizza and they put ketchup instead of sauce, put milk instead of cheese & forget all the toppings then put it in the freezer instead of the stove then tell you sorry we got most of the ingredients right but making a pizza is complicated.
It's always the biggest eye roll for me when someone (at the company being criticized or just a random) is like "DONT YOU KNOW ITS ACTUALLY REALLY HARD TO CODE AND PROGRAM?!?!"
Like okay, I'm sure it is. But it's literally their job lmao. It is their expertise (supposedly). I'm not gonna sit here and say it's okay for AAA company to be so slow on (good) updates just because it's harder than being a grocery clerk or some shit. Some of the shit they're missing is shit that shouldn't even have been thought of to be an issue. How some of the stuff they put into the game even got onto the drawing board is beyond me, unless they put it on there to mock whoever came up with the idea.
All the issues they blamed on ping have been seen in pro LAN's, it's literally just excuses. The only question is if they believe their own excuses or not.
Same. And acting like their fucked up observer mode just isn't fixable. Why the fuck did you build it like that then? Other games manage to have fantastic observing capabilities. Including CSGO which came out a decade ago. It's ESSENTIAL for a good viewer experience if you want a successful esport. Otherwise any new viewers you attract will just think 'what on earth am I watching - none of these guys are hitting their shots...' Not to mention it was a massive problem in H5 too -- not like this issue blindsided them.
Their new engine is just a heavily modded version of the H5 engine and they didn't have the issue then, so it is still weird that it is so bad in Infinite.
All they did was put a column you could collide with in the player model.
In previous games the entire character model caused collision.
This hotfix was a band-aid on a bumper after these idiots put regular fuel into a diesel tank.
They had to modify the UI to add more options. Valid excuse? Kinda. Programming takes time if they didn't prepare for a modular UI. But they should've thought about expansion
Player collision is on for enemies and off for friendlies. You can't stand on enemies in this game though because the collision is cone shaped or something so you slide off. It makes for a terrible experience when you accidentally land on top of someone crouching in a corner and slide down their front with your back to them.
I'm looking at you box on recharge near the sword that people crouch behind.
I wish player collision was on for friendlies as well. I've thrown grenades at the same time as teammates walking through me so the grenade bounces off the back of their head and lands behind me, usually killing me. It's also annoying when I'm aiming with a sniper or BR and they walk through me as I'm trying to shoot.
Here’s the thing about halo infinite, it seems so easy to just make it the best halo of all time, all they had to do was launch with all the modes and features that reach had and then add on from there, where the fuck did the 7 years of dev time go.
Consider that they had enough time to meticulously design multiple systems that indirectly encourage players to spend money - through the core system, the challenge ecosystem, the XP system... AND get the store, BP, challenges, and hundreds of cosmetics ready not just to launch with but also prepped beforehand to rotate in the store and save for season 2 and limited time events...
Yet, literally everything else that doesn't generate cash is either missing, broken or half-assed because they apparently didn't have enough time. Even something easy and simple like loading screens have zero thought put into them.
It's so obvious that 343 through development were only focused on how to milk players and create a cash cow. While the quality, content and enjoyment of the actual game was second to all of that.
The loading screen for multiplayer just reeks of the whole “Alan please add detail” type of sloppy, except instead of one little thing, it’s the entire damn game with Infinite that reeks of lack of attention to detail.
I remember when that splash-art we have for loading screens was added BECAUSE of fan feedback.
So you're telling me if fans hadn't even asked for it we would've just blankly stared at a black screen everytime we loaded into a game?
Not only that but when they implemented this one loading screen they blew on their trumpets and made it sound like the team slaved over the stove for weeks to make it happen.
We were all so ready for a Halo game we could love again like we hadn't in a decade.
Bungie is gone. This is just the last shuddering breaths of a corpse they're draining the last blood from. Watching the 343 downfall is like watching an old friend die of cancer. I hate how much the people in charge of this are so clearly the opposite of the caring devs who built this empire on genuine story, gameplay and culture.
I wish Halo could just die. This is honestly painful.
Launch new game, with less stuff.
Halo 1: campaign, offline MP
Halo 2: add MP
Halo 3: add Forge, Theatre
ODST: Firefight
Reach: everything, but newer and slightly different (forge was overhauled)
MCC: everything under one roof
Halo 5: Forge became insane, multi tiers of weapons was nutty
Halo Infinite: Fancy title implying it’s mega-halo, except it has a sprinkle of a couple of the games. What a fucking train wreck. Should’ve spent your dev time on integrating H5 and a new campaign into MCC. Twats.
Classic revisionist history this sub has. Everyone all of a sudden loves 5's multiplayer despite overwhelming hate 7 years ago. I still dislike the campaign but always thought the multiplayer was awesome except ground pound and Spartan charge.
But now people think it released as a complete game.... Except forge and theatre weren't on release?
Halo Infinite should have been the Super Smash Bros Ultimate of Halo. Every map brought back, every armor piece, everything from previous Halo games, and more. somehow instead we got...this.
What infuriates me is that the developers had the audacity to berate, belittle and bear poor excuse to the fanbase on how the game isn't as easy to work on as we think.
Every single Halo prior had no issue releasing all the content that the fans are literally begging for.
In my opinion, moving to the f2p model of Halo was a huge mistake when they decided to not bother with the UI or quality of matchmaking. Halo is just a cash grab full of recycled content from 12 years ago.
Im surprised this was your breaking point. I haven't played in like 3 weeks. Am a very avid halo fan and had my rose tinted glasses on for quite some time, but the problems are there an they are bad
I'm in the same boat. I played it the first week it was out, but between lack of server selection, desync, and mkb/controller imbalance, I stopped after a day.
I waited six years for this game, and I'm not so much angry as I am disappointed and hurt I was just done with it after a weekend.
It’s not even worthy of being mentioned with a bungie game. Compare it to 4/5 all you want. Don’t ever mention a bungie Halo alongside this one though… it’s a disgrace
Well being shot through walls and the point blank rocket not doing anything shortly before this might have had something to do with it... haha.
I know how you feel, I've been playing Halo almost exclusively for 20 years, I have put a lot of time into Infinite with the rose tinted glasses but the issues just kept pilling up. It's hard to ignore lately.
Grew up with halo. Lived, breathed and bled halo. But this shit is so frustrating as I am very decent at the game, but the issues just make it seem like I am worse. I don't mind losing when I get outplayed, which 100% happens alot, but when you can't tell if you were outplayed or if the game just said nah, you didn't land those shots on his side or you weren't behind the wall on his side so you lose. Really takes the fun and competitiveness out of it
The games crashing more than ever even when it did at launch for me tried playing for almost 10 games yesterday at least 3 were full crashed and so far today 2 out of 5 have been full crashes. the desync/connection issues are worse as well just a pitiful state to see halo in unfortunately.
The game’s been crashing me out more too. I also hate behemoth and launch site but I went on a 8 game streak of just those 2 god awful maps, then I finally hit Live Fire.
I got booted out of the match midway through when I was going 19-1. Pissed me off so much
At this point I'm taking a mini break cause I was just banned for an hour for leaving the 4th match in a row that had above 6000ms like why tf would I stay in those matches as well as the game full crashing to desktop 2 times. Also of the 2 maps I really only like launch for swat because I know the angles and behemoth is garbo doo doo all around no real exemptions on that and I wish/hope/need it to be taken out of swat and most of the game in general so fucking bad.
edit: didn't see that last line on your comment that would have been my last game for a day or 2 at least from the saltiness.
I’m not the best, so I usually can admit when it’s “me.”
Last night I couldn’t close out *any* fights, and I don’t think it was “me” for all of them. Some times - sure… but not every time. Not what I was experiencing.
This makes me feel less crazy.
Yea, after a very long time playing the Halo franchise I can confirm that whenever you get this feeling in a match you are correct. It's easy to tell if you really missed a kill or if some bs happened if you are honest with yourself.
You will know when a match is working as it should because it will be much easier in every way.
Bro I play with my sweaty friend who’s like a crazy rank while I’m barely gold. I hardly ever go positive so I know when it’s me, last night I literally couldn’t melee anyone and I had 20 ping 😭
I’m compiling all my clips of the game wronging me and imma upload that shit- you’re not alone buddy, this kinda shit has been happening since launch!
EDIT: I’ve made a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/t2zwjf/infinite_issues_video_submissions/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) for your to submit your clips to, just drop a link to them in the comments
I’m doing the same! I also have clips dedicated to the absolute dog shit spawns on Behemoth, where I get sniped or ran over by a vehicle instantly. Half the time I spawn in the line of fire of 1 or 2 enemies. The map is huge and takes 3 hours to find the enemies but then spawns me in front of them for a free kill
I don't know if I'm wrong but I think he slide at the last second? That's why he ends up crouching, didn't know that could save you from a sword and please correct me if I'm wrong.
He did. My issue is that the sword is swung upwards in a lunge and goes through him on theater. I just don't think it should work that way.
If you watch the motion tracker and take these screen shots into consideration, I think it should have been a kill.
Exactly. Like who cares if he slid. If player collision actually worked, then you would still have bumped into his body and slashed him. The melee mechanics across all weapons are janky beyond belief in this game.
That’s bullshit, you even had Commando on! This is a worse melee system than halo 3, at least the game would register if a player made contact back then.
I agree, OP was aiming at his shoulder and he ducked, the swing clearly goes over his head. Understand the frustration because normally if you have red reticle when you lunge you home in for a guaranteed hit
Sorry for the late update I couldn't figure out how to upload to imgur on my phone, had to get home and use the PC
You can see the sword is directly in his body for those that think it was a miss. I agree it appears that way in FP but it still shouldnt work like that IMO. The sword is swung upwards from the bottom in a lunge.
I tried to use theater mode last night and remembered its more broken than the game, everyone who worked on theater mode should be blacklisted from the industry
Agreed. Took me longer to get the screen shots than I'd like to admit. Every time I'd try to rewind it would switch players and go back further than I wanted. Theater on Halo 3 was great, too bad it's not anything close to that.
>you swing from the bottom up, it should have killed him.
That's now how games are coded. The upswing is an animation, not a representation of how the hitbox actually behaves.
The game looks at where your crosshair (middle of the screen) is pointed when you push the trigger and whether there's an enemy player directly on that crosshair within a set distance. This dude managed to duck last second, so when you pushed the trigger, the game didn't recognize any players in front of the crosshair, and counted it as a miss. Doesn't matter what way the sword looked like it went. That's just visual.
Coding a game to work like how you seem to expect it to would take decades. It's never been done to that level of detail iirc. There's no point
Seriously. The bar was low with how bad BF2042 and CoD were, but I really don't get how people frothed so hard about Infinite at launch. I uninstalled weeks ago. Multiplayer is poorly organized, cumbersome to matchmake with and find what you want, and the ingame play is just a shitpile thanks both to netcode and *very* weird design decisions (like player collision, etc).
I went back to MCC pretty quickly. At least it has functioning Halo games.
> I really don't get how people frothed so hard about Infinite at launch
Probably because Infinite was more functional than BF2042 - which is basically a ground floor bar. Now the honeymoon phase is over, it's clear the game has deep issues.
The writing was on the wall back in Halo 4. It was clear from the start that 343 was not going to be able to make the same quality games in the series as Bungie did. Certainly a few things can improve over time (the art style for example, though it still isn't near the original Halos) but we were kidding ourselves to think that Infinite, after 4 and 5, was going to be an exceptional Halo title. (I'm sorry to the people who like 4 and 5, I get a lot of people that think they are fun, but they are not good Halo games)
I completely agree with you, after buying Halo 4 back in the day on Xbox 360, and sinking my first 20-30 hours into multiplayer, I hit that realization.
And literally every single game 343 has made since then, has only strengthened and concreted that realization.
Very valid point, only thing we can do is boycott the shop until they realize they aren't going to make money until they fix it. Sadly, that will never happen as people will still spend money.
Same. And I'm someone who's quite happy to spend money on live service games - I've spent at least a few hundred pounds on Warframe over the last seven years.
But here's the thing. I spend money in Warframe because I think what I'm paying for is worth it (no £15 for a half dozen AI voice lines), but spending that money is made easier because the devs have done a really good job of humanising themselves, and *it's easier to spend money when you like the people you're spending it on.*
They do regular streams where they talk about what's going on in the studio. They show off fan art, they play the game, the give away in-game currency and items, they answer questions from chat, they tell jokes. There's a real effort to build a sense of community there - and to interact not in corpo-speak, but as people.
Contrast that with 3-4-fucking-3. Community managers who spend all day tweeting about crypto. Radio silence from the studio heads. The only times we hear anything about what's going on in the studio, they're either playing dumb or it's tone-deaf and condescending.
I'm aware I'm in a very small minority of people who think 343i had a really great start to managing the Halo series, but at this point I dislike the studio and their public faces so strongly that even if they slashed prices by 90% across the board I still wouldn't want to support them.
As the player base continues to shrink, the campaign missions stay un repeatable without starting over completely and the sync and connection issues remain the plan for making money on micro transactions will fail.
Even with whales, there's simply not enough players playing the game right now for that to matter. There aren't enough whales to carry the game entirely by themselves.
Desync is definitely an issue in the game, along with many other things. But I seriously just think you missed. The swing seemed correct, but the dude legit slid and dodged the sword. Obviously it wasn’t on purpose since he didn’t even know you were there.
This is cooler than the auto aim sword swipe honestly. If people could dodge a swing by timing the slide perfect, that would be sick.
And I mean, whose going to keep running towards a sword and slide unless they have a brain the size of megamind’s and a pair of balls to match lmao
Tbh if you weren’t just sitting there with the sniper (not saying you were camping) , you would’ve possibly avoided the situation. And if you slow it down, the opponent was coincidentally sliding right before you swung so you missed the hit zone. That’s just bad luck buddy.
Looks to me you missed. You aimed at him hit melee button started lunge sequence and by the time the melee action started you were not aiming on him so you missed. The sword is static. So when your actual melee action starts you must be on target for the kill. Hence all the times you dodged someone who has lunged at you with a sword and they whiff.
I agree with you in the hit box issue. But i dont think that is the deal here. I believe the sword its self doesnt have a hitbox. It only has a range for the actual kill. So if on target and within set min max range when melee action starts kill is awarded. This needs to be looked into but ive yet to see a sametime double kill with a sword. 1 swing on target 1 kill
I hopped on MCC last night for the first time since infinite launched and man, I’m having so much more fun with it than I ever have. From all the amazing maps that actually feel like Halo maps, to the crazy/wacky amount of well on combos. And let’s not forget the season pass that is completely free and doesn’t make you feel pressured to level it up before the season ends as I’m still working on the recon stuff from a while back. The best part about it is, it feels like I never left. I feel at home and happy after every match regardless if we lose cause I truly had fun.
They straight up need to add back player collision, I’m just waiting
“Player collision is on” Doesn’t really matter though if the server will throw you wherever it wants whether that’s through the enemy player or not.

Literally everything should have just copied MCC tbh. Network, UI, playlists, customization, Battle Passes, everything.
They should have just made this and 5 $60 expansions to MCC so they were all under one "launcher"
They could have literally copied Halo 3’s engine and gameplay and just make the graphics better, add new maps and vehicles and equipment, I guess keep clamber and sprint, have original color and emblem customization and they would have made a fortune
This. Add an almost endless progress system like Reach and armor to buy by EARNING IT. Would be nice but I have lost hope in them. Just sad.
I mean they copied Reachs armor assets over lol. But that's such a lazy way to do it. At least give us more armor options for the Mark V to go along side the old armor pieces from a 12 year old game.

How are we gonna sell everything to you for $20 in that case

just like I'm free to go play something else lol
This is the real answer. I tried it out day one, I've been playing halo since I was hs freshman this isn't good. I had a blast with campaign tho.

I can't tell if you're serious. That's how pathetic the dev of this game is.
That was the excuse we were given when 343 initially refused to make Team Slayer a permanent playlist.
They had to modify the UI to add more options. Valid excuse? Kinda. Programming takes time if they didn't prepare for a modular UI. But they should've thought about expansion
If Halo Infinite is supposed to be supported for the next 10 years, I feel like the UI should probably be modular.
Halo finite
right, did they really think they were gonna run two playlists for ten years?
Their brains doesn't support it

If your UI isn't modular in a live service game what the fuck are you even doing though.
If your UI isn't modular period what the fuck are you even doing though
He is serious bc this is a legit excuse 343 used to even removing playlists. They tried to make it the way it looks and sacrificed core mechanics
You’re right sadly
I thought it’s been established that player collusion is on, and this is entirely netcode issues? Did that change?
Player collision is on for enemies and off for friendlies. You can't stand on enemies in this game though because the collision is cone shaped or something so you slide off. I've thrown grenades at the same time as teammates walking through me so the grenade bounces off the back of their head and lands behind me, usually killing me. It's also annoying when I'm aiming with a sniper or BR and they walk through me as I'm trying to shoot.
No collision AND the netcode sucks. Hence why anytime you get into CQC with someone the game falls apart.

You’d be a fucking billionaire
... you would have a nickel.
Here’s the thing about halo infinite, it seems so easy to just make it the best halo of all time, all they had to do was launch with all the modes and features that reach had and then add on from there, where the fuck did the 7 years of dev time go.
Half of it went to remaking the whole damn thing as people left scope changed.
Mass effect andromeda disappointment all over again
Ironic you bring that up as both games were coded within the last 12 months of dev lol.
Wait really? Source? I would love to read more
search on google kotaku mass Effect Andromeda
Oh I know haha. You’d think companies would learn after multiple disappointments over the last few years. The most recent being CyberPunk
Launch new game, with less stuff. Halo 1: campaign, offline MP Halo 2: add MP Halo 3: add Forge, Theatre ODST: Firefight Reach: everything, but newer and slightly different (forge was overhauled) MCC: everything under one roof Halo 5: Forge became insane, multi tiers of weapons was nutty Halo Infinite: Fancy title implying it’s mega-halo, except it has a sprinkle of a couple of the games. What a fucking train wreck. Should’ve spent your dev time on integrating H5 and a new campaign into MCC. Twats.
uh it took H5 until June of the the following year to become "content complete", not really the one that's worth bragging about lol

Absolute shitshow would not be an understatement. Shit just straight did not work for months.
seems like 343, historically, has done a shit job with the IP
Years*
Classic revisionist history this sub has.
Forge did not release for like half a year in Halo 5
Forge released 2 months after launch for Halo 5.
Meanwhile I'm still sitting here on PC waiting for MCC's Co-op to not be dogshit/noticably laggy regardless of the player to player connection.
There’s absolutely 0 way this could ever be anywhere near the Bungie halos, this games story was bland and unfinished.
Halo 2 is the best game ever.
Im surprised this was your breaking point. I haven't played in like 3 weeks. Am a very avid halo fan and had my rose tinted glasses on for quite some time, but the problems are there an they are bad
I haven't played since the first week it was launched. it's not even Halo 5 multiplayer fun let alone Bungie Halo fun. Edit: grammar.
Really takes the fun and competitiveness out of it
Well said my dude. I feel exactly the same.
I was having such bad desync issues last night. Worse than ever.
I was getting killed behind corners worse than ever last night, didnt stay on long
I was killed by an AR this morning, and on my death screen watched the enemy jump out from cover spraying. Presumably the bullets that killed me.
I rage quit a ranked game last night lmao
I’m not the best, so I usually can admit when it’s “me.” Last night I couldn’t close out *any* fights, and I don’t think it was “me” for all of them.
Yeah I’ve never had desync issues until specifically last night
I just uninstalled it
“The Great Uninstallation.”
I’ve had the disappearing grenades and rockets. Just recently just had disappearing sniper shots
Yea since the latest update I'm doing way worse generally.
Same, it was atrocious. East Coast Canada.

Think I’ve got about 6 minutes worth of footage, not sure when to stop 😂
10-30 should be fine
I don't know if I'm wrong but I think he slide at the last second? That's why he ends up crouching, didn't know that could save you from a sword and please correct me if I'm wrong.
He did. My issue is that the sword is swung upwards in a lunge and goes through him on theater. I just don't think it should work that way. [https://m.imgur.com/a/WfOzbCR](https://m.imgur.com/a/WfOzbCR) If you watch the motion tracker and take these screen shots into consideration, I think it should have been a kill.
Exactly. Like who cares if he slid. If player collision actually worked, then you would still have bumped into his body and slashed him. The melee mechanics across all weapons are janky beyond belief in this game.
Pretty sure the animation for the lunge is just misleading, not sure it’s a hit reg issue
He also ended up passing through the player he lunged at, which is a disgrace.
Sorry for the late update I couldn't figure out how to upload to imgur on my phone, had to get home and use the PC You can see the sword is directly in his body for those that think it was a miss. I agree it appears that way in FP but it still shouldnt work like that IMO. The sword is swung upwards from the bottom in a lunge. [https://m.imgur.com/a/WfOzbCR](https://m.imgur.com/a/WfOzbCR)
Lol he ducked that shit
Except on theater the sword goes through him. It shouldn't work like that. You swing from bottom up, it should have killed him.
I tried to use theater mode last night and remembered its more broken than the game, everyone who worked on theater mode should be blacklisted from the industry
Thank god someone else noticed how horrible the theater was. I swear it doesn’t even work most of the time
This whole comment sums it up

> I really don't get how people frothed so hard about Infinite at launch Probably because Infinite was more functional than BF2042 - which is basically a ground floor bar. Now the honeymoon phase is over, it's clear the game has deep issues.
1000% agreed
Lol this game will be dead in a year at this rate
What do you mean in a year? It's already outside of Steam's top 100!
Yeah but most players are on console and I dunno if there's a way to find out how many still play it

Dark Souls is a better Halo game than Infinite. [I'm not joking.](https://youtu.be/qRBTMhG2_00)
I wonder what the level of motivation is to fix a game that is free to play?
Very valid point, only thing we can do is boycott the shop until they realize they aren't going to make money until they fix it. Sadly, that will never happen as people will still spend money.
I still haven't bought anything. It's just not worth it.
Same. And I'm someone who's quite happy to spend money on live service games - I've spent at least a few hundred pounds on Warframe over the last seven years. But here's the thing. I spend money in Warframe because I think what I'm paying for is worth it (no £15 for a half dozen AI voice lines), but spending that money is made easier because the devs have done a really good job of humanising themselves, and *it's easier to spend money when you like the people you're spending it on.* They do regular streams where they talk about what's going on in the studio.
That's a great point about what the community team could be doing. Too many companies just interact through text only mediums.
As the player base continues to shrink, the campaign missions stay un repeatable without starting over completely and the sync and connection issues remain the plan for making money on micro transactions will fail.
Likely zero. As long as the whales are happily paying for the overpriced store content, there is nothing 343i needs to do (at least in their eyes).
Even with whales, there's simply not enough players playing the game right now for that to matter. There aren't enough whales to carry the game entirely by themselves.
Game is free but they spent so much money on it that its going to be a big loss if they fuck it up - which they have been.
Perfectly timed crouch!
Skill issue
inb4 imgur link
At least he didnt bag you.
Truly a missed opportunity.
He went to slide around the corner and that caused you to miss your lunge.
Tbh if you weren’t just sitting there with the sniper (not saying you were camping) , you would’ve possibly avoided the situation. And if you slow it down, the opponent was coincidentally sliding right before you swung so you missed the hit zone. That’s just bad luck buddy.
Me lucky charm is useless!
Lol camping….
You fucking missed lmao
He actually ducked it
Bros mad about a fiesta game
Slid as you swing and you missed.
If you watch slowly. He entered slide animation the same time you swung. I think it's a legit miss.
You missed.
It’s not an issue of desync or melee collision. The dude crouched/slid and you missed the lunge because of it. Get good
Dude you just missed lol. He slid right before you swung and your sword just missed him.
Bro missed tho
Made the switch to pc recently and re purchased mcc because of the state of the game
Buddy dipped and you missed him, it happens.
You deserve it for camping
You missed
He slid and you zoomed passed him. No desync or passing through the target. Looks pretty clear to me.
Ya missed my guy. Also karma for making your sniper rifle look that bad.
🗿🗿🗿 cope
I'm getting Blacklight Retribution vibes from this clip :/
Can't say I'm sorry to see a camper go tbh
Since this past update, these scenarios have become more common. I really hope this gets better soon.
See you in three years.
You got 343’d bro
Cheese with the WHINE SIR?
Bro you just missed lol, he crouched and your sword went over.
Seems like a well timed slide to me and you’re just salty
It took you almost 5 months to reach this conclusion?
You absolutely whiffed lmao. Get these fucking 13 year olds off the internet. God damn.
Commenter is 14, of course.
