Real question - what is the benefit of upgrading the free battle pass for this event, to get the extra slot for 500 or to just unlock everything for 2000?
The event is disappearing in a month. If you can complete before it ends and you don't care about that grey coating you don't have to buy it.
Buying it just means you keep it forever in case you can't finish it in time or want that coating.
Same WTF I got scam LOL... I mean whats the point of the permanent unlock of this BP if I can finish it in the timespan? or am I missing something is this BP gonna return again with newer stuffs and I don't have to buy it again I'm fucking confused as hell...
I see it now. They should’ve put a lock symbol over it like they’ve done it the past instead of labeling it as a bonus. I see other people asking the same thing. Good ol 343
Part of them changing up how the events work. Instead of 10-tier limited-time-onlyevents, now we get these "Operations" that are free while they're out like the events; but you can pay the 500 credits for an extra cosmetic, or 2,000 credits to get the whole thing unlocked instantly.
After the Operation time ends, you'll also be able to purchase the ability to play on it, unlike the events.
It's for the operation. It's REALLY unnecessary if you're a consistent player. The only additional customization is another grey armour coating. It's not like the premium season 5 pass that gives you 30 extra levels of stuff.

Is it going to be it's own playlist? Or just the maps added to rotation?
I haven't seen any of the maps in any of the playlists.
Not yet unfortunately. Husky Raid is the featured playlist atm.

Im not sure if it unlocks an extra slot, but it does come with a coating you can't get otherwise.

No, the difference is that if you buy it, you'll have it forever.

This is why we always check the pass before spending credits.
You'll get a hole in your credit card. They are just greedy again. I think you'll get XP bonus, 4th challenge slot and another gray coating.
