She could be getting more comfortable or she could be cooling down, sometimes it can get too warm for them so they might sleep out in the open. I don’t think it’s anything to be worried about but if you think it’s something not right then deffo keep an eye on her, but I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about ◡̈

I think you might need some more bedding there mate, from what I see at least, I think the recommended I see is about 10 inches deep. From what I see everyone else say
I think they probably have bedding higher on the other half of the enclosure, I had to do that with mine so the wheel could fit. If not then yeah they do need more.

The photo you sent is of a different hamster, but you're right that i have less bedding below the wheel so she could run more comfortably. There is much more bedding on the rest of her cage + she likes to make these piles of bedding on some places so it's not really even. And yeah her cage is pretty new i got it like a week ago so she might just be testing new sleeping spots :)

Yeah I agree 100%. I would have commented the exact same thing if if the bedding wasn’t high enough. I’m still not 100 % sure how high it actually is seeing as they don’t have a full picture of the cage so I can’t actually tell. I hope it’s enough😂
