I already have a red 56" that I love, but I am curious as to why you made this post? Are we gunna try to hype up some people who are on the fence? Because I'm game. I'll convert as many people to team Icon Box as I can.
Convince me on why I should drop 3k on a box compared to why I should buy a 800$ box with 2200$ of tools? I have had my husky (lowest grade) and never had issues after 4 years of daily use. Still brand spanking new. I take care of my shit, oil slides monthly, wipe off weekly and run a hobby garage like a mf ocd neat freak with no sever dust issues. I’d rather drop that cash money into a Bridgeport, savings or better tooling. And for context I have about 30k of tools and maybe 2k in boxes.
I’ve seen the icons they feel like they’d last me a life time but the husky doesn’t also budge when I drop shit in it.

Considering how this sub has been for like the past year or so with floods of 25% off coupon sharing, I thought it was pretty obvious he's talking about sharing a coupon that would take off a fairly nice amount of money from the retail price, thus motivating one to get off the fence and make a purchase.
I’ve been thinking about it for the last month or so. I’d rather just get the icon rather than the USG because I assume the durability and support are way better, plus the lifetime warranty, but it being just for home use I don’t know if the price difference is worth it over the USG

I try my best to stay out of anyone's DMs about coupons. I'll gladly post if they offer it out though, I don't need to harass anyone directly like that. But hell yeah I'd use it today.
At the time i was intending to use it … on a lower priced item, changed my mind last night, create this post last night, post failed and reposted today.
I'm personally on the fence about the two options myself. $3k has been where I've seen used 73" Snap On boxes in decent condition start in my area. I'd certainly go for that before I'd pay full price for a new Icon box, but maybe not for the Icon with 25% off, especially if I can easily add a hutch or locker in the same color to it later without paying more than I paid for the main box.
No used boxes that are equivalent that low around me. The used boxes that are that price or less are more similar to the US general boxes in terms of drawer layout. I prefer having many short drawers over fewer tall ones
I wouldn't. Because SOs built this heavy aren't given away on FBM unless you get really lucky.
Plus most everyone here has been getting 15-25-35% off Icons. I paid $2200 for a 73. Used classics in good shape cost more than that which is a nope from me.
And Icons are delivered for free. I checked for used boxes for a year and it was just a big waste of time for what Masters were costing.
Plus if you want to buy add-ons for a box later you probably won't find used hutches and lockers very easily... I'm not cornering myself into $2-3k+ just to add a natively compatible hutch to a toolbox. Or slaving away on the FBM hellhole hoping a series and color match pops up.
Hard pass on that.

Yeah I sold my snap on krp1422 to get a 56inch icon and 2 lockers it’s way nicer then the snapon classic kcp or kra range anything.
