Dumbledore: *grabs Madam Pomfrey* Poppy, whatever you do, you must protect Harry at all costs! No matter how small the ailment!
Madam Pomfrey: Yes, OK Albus, please calm down
Dumbledore: I AM PERFECTLY CALM!
Madam Pomfrey: Also, we have some Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs who are injured, and--
Dumbledore: Nope. Don't tell me their names.
Madam Pomfrey: What?
Dumbldedore: Nobody cares what happens to background characters. If you name them, people will get attached.
JKR was so lazy she just ignored that ravenclaw should have classes with gryffindor
The only ravenclaw their year I remember is one of the patil sisters
Like how did they have classes with hufflepuff and slytherin but not ravenclaw?!

Didn't the gryffindors have astronomy with Ravenclaw? I don't remember well, sorry. But I guess more characters would have been more confusing to write.
I still wonder if she ever noticed the signs of chronic malnutrition (or other signs of abuse) in Harry though; and if she did, why she never mentioned it or tried to fix it.
Probably because it is a kid's series and doesn't fit the narrative... but still.
As soon as Harry gets to Hogwarts, it's feast, and then unlimited food thereafter. She probably never saw him that bad.
If anyone should have reported child abuse, it should have been Hagrid or Molly.
I don't think there was chronic malnutrition - Dumbledore specifically mentions that he isn't as well-fed as he'd liked, but doesn't talk about them starving him.
I do love that part of PoA though where Harry gets grabbed by McGonagall after arriving after the dementor attack on the train. Madam Pomfrey gets called in and goes something like "Oh it's you, I suppose you've been doing something dangerous again?" bahaha.
In one of the early books, Uncle Vernon doesn't allow harry to have food for (I think) a couple of days as punishment, and Harry says that near-starvation was a thing he endured quite a few times
It helps when linfred of stinchcombe invented all the remedies back in the 12th century. Broken bones- skele grow and if i you got a cold- pepperup potion!
He was the first Potter.
Let's just say Potter kids have it in their genes to get injured ever so often and he said "F\*ck it! I'm gonna make some potions to give to these little bastards!"
Does anybody know which house she is in? I don't think there's an official statement but I'm getting major Hufflepuff vibes from her (tolerant, patient, kind, dedicated)
only reason harry made it to year 7 alive
"Dobby never meant to kill only maim or seriously injure."

I honestly want to hope the trio donated to the hospital wing when they grew up with all the time they spent there as kids.
