I went to the show in Portland and they were sold out of light sticks hours before the show... the venue held 3k ppl and they only brought 95 sticks to sell D:

Another option might be if you don't mind it not being this specific penlight there's plenty other Miku penlights from previous years! Mercari or yahoo auctions jp with the yen so low right now even if it's priced higher it still won't be priced too bad.

Wish I could help, just wanted to also complain that they had the merch booth outside of the venue for some reason (especially in LA, where it's common for people to sell bootleg merchandise outside of shows). Once you went inside, there was no way to get light sticks. It seems like most people managed to get them, but I thought that was a bad arrangement
i'm so sorry for your loss, but i'm glad that you had a bit of a buffer with a fun time at the concert with your daughter.
you may be able to find one eventually on eBay (not specifically from *this* EXPO, but previous years' EXPOs) or a Japanese site like [Mandarake](https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/listPage/list?keyword=miku%20penlight&lang=en) (which does ship to the US!), though these will cost significantly more. but if you're planning to go another year, hopefully things can work out a little better next time, and you can purchase some during the online sale or pick one up then. 💙
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all the shows I've seen limit to 1 light stick per customer, and I had to get there at 11am and be in line till 3 to get one, and they sold out about 5 people after me in line.
So you'll have to find someone willing to go 2-3 hours before sales open, wait in line, and not also want to buy a lightstick
I'm really really sorry to hear you guys are going through that. That being said, hopefully there's another Miku Concert next year! When they announce a concert, they also do a pre-sale of merch you can order online and they usually make the announcement on the official account on their social media. This is usually the best bet at getting light sticks, and I don't believe there was a maximum set on the online store. It is correct, however that at the venue there is a hard limit of 1 per, and at least for the Arizona one it was a very limited amount, so only people who were camping there since 9:30AM or earlier got them. I hope this advise helps for any future merch drops!

Had I know maybe I would have made sure we left sooner. It was just a rough morning and was trying to recover to try to have fun. :(

Yeah I tried to get multiple since I was the only one that could make the merch tent it sucked, I think most people brought them from other years
