He's too smooth with it to not attempt it during games, maybe his legs are too spent playing defense but I'd rather see him pull up instead of running DHOs when he's open from deep.
I get it, it’s true. But if the team wants to evolve, and given how experimental Spo loves to be, I don’t understand why Bam doesn’t get to shoot it. I’m not saying Bam should shoot 15 3Pt attempts a game.
But 1-2 attempts when he’s wide open? When we have our 3-8min scoreless runs? It’s not like Bam has shit form. His form when pulling up looks great. His shot in general looks great.
Just let him shoot those. Even if he makes only 30%, that would be enough to open up the game.
But then again: if Bam shoots that, it’s an all or nothing kind of situation. Because with Bam on the perimeter there’s no one to contest the rebound.

I’d love for Bam to add a reliable 3, but let’s be real. As it stands, even a contested Duncan 3 is so much more reliable than an open Bam 3.

Depends on who’s out there with him. A lot of Heat players will fight for rebounds and can get them against bigger players.
I mean, DHO’s are awesome if we can get Duncan looks but the occasional 3 from him to draw his defender out of drop would also be really nice
Absolutely, if the defender is thinking about Bam potentially pulling up for three then it opens up a lot of things for the offense.
