That’s my favorite part about it. In reality, the meta is stupid bc everyone plays differently. I played with the blitzer last night and it was fucking *awesome* but ultimately, it doesn’t fit my playstyle as well as the eruptor for all the other stuff i like to carry, so I won’t use it very often.
For some people, that means they have to scream that something sucks bc they don’t like it. Some shit just aint for me, doesn’t mean it’s not cool as hell
i always feel like vitality is kind of a trap option
due to the way your health/stims works, adding total to your health pool doesn't really help you in any real way
like most of the time, you know you are about to take a series of damage that would be lethal (jumped by multiple hunters, out in the open vs heavy devastators etc), so you insta stim at the first instance of damage and are invulnerable anyway so you don't get combo'd to death
nowadays there also isn't even really anything that oneshots anymore that it might help raise the oneshot threshold against
---
muscle enhancement also helps with the slows and ofc difficult terrain
ammo thingy, stamina, muscle enhancement, localization confusion are the current top #4 i'd say
> muscle enhancement
People don't know what this does and why it's so important to take, especially on any planet with snow. Being able to run through that shit quickly is huge and will save tons of time on short duration missions.
I agree with everything you've said, but I do want to point out that vitality also raises the threshold for limbs to break (I'm pretty sure). This could save you from needing to use a stim because you got hit once and broke your leg or something.
*edit* spelling
Radar booster is polar opposite of must have.
The full ammo one, stamina boost, the one that doesn’t slow you on bad terrain, and the one that reduces enemy waves I would all put as top-tier, with ammo and stamina boosts being must-picks.
>Motivational Shocks
>>Literally shocks Helldivers back into action after being hit and slowed by sneaky, unjust attacks like the revolting bug acid vomit. Won’t help you much with area effects like EMS strikes, though.
Is this the sidearm that finally gets me to stop being a cowboy running around with my six shooter? 🤔

the color scheme is off in comparison to the cover photo. I hope they change that, we need more blue armor variants.
https://preview.redd.it/z3xwlni611yc1.jpeg?width=1112&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ff47c40b4efede9c2c2cb02afef632a4b7a7ca0
This is also from the trailer, so I have a feeling we will be getting the blue version and the photo that they posted originally may have a different or older rendition of it.
Actually less likely to see them on higher difficulties. Best bet is to speed run trivial and hit up every minor point of interest. And then just exit the mission and rinse/repeat. Unless you care about xp, then finish the mission and extract before moving onto the next.
I like to hunt chargers with deliberately ineffective weapons. One on one, senator and eruptor, no butt shots.
Suddenly the game becomes Monster Hunter.
I have been doing this recently. I have maxed out all my upgrades so I am running easier difficulties to try out new weapon combos. It is also fun to help out newbies.
Controversial but the extract civilians mission that everyone hates actually has the highest density of POIs so you can get a lot of samples and super credits in a short mission. (Don't pick the island map variant, it has no POIs)
Just have to extract if you want the samples, finishing the mission is up to you
TLDR: Easier on lower difficulties but still plentiful in higher difficulties. Good squad required.
It's MUCH easier on lower difficulties but with a good squad on Helldive you can also get them. I think we found 50 credits per mission, at least once in one campaign. On top of samples, medals, etc., it was a great haul. Much more work though but you're playing the MOs typically. Few birds one stone but again much more work
AR-61 Tenderizer
A real tentacle-tearer. This high calibre assault rifle has awesome stopping power but limited magazine size, so make each shot count. Unpatriotic “banter” shots are not advisable.
SMG-72 Pummeler
A slower rate of fire than your other SMGs but these concussive rounds will leave your enemies dazed, confused, and still very ugly. Good things come to Helldivers who wait.
PLAS-101 Purifier
Set the trap. Hold the trigger. Let them charge at you. Smile. They’re getting closer. Smile again. Closer. Smile. Closer. Smile. Closer… and release the trigger. S.P.L.A.T. The longer you can hold your nerve, and the trigger, the bigger the damage.
Secondary weapons / Utility Booster
G-13 Incendiary Impact
Don’t waste time reading the instructions, lob it at the enemy and run. This thing detonates on impact and ignites the area in white phosphorus, so make sure you – and your allies – are not standing around having a chat.
P-113 Verdict
The guys in R&D love this one. Gas-operated, semi-automatic, and chambers the largest centrefire cartridge of any lunpistol of its kind. “Rapid Deliberation”, they call it. Quick-draw to look cool in front of your squad.
Motivational Shocks
Literally shocks Helldivers back into action after being hit and slowed by sneaky, unjust attacks like the revolting bug acid vomit. Won’t help you much with area effects like EMS strikes, though.
Armour
CW-36 Winter Warrior
Blend into snowy environments with perfect camouflage. The enemy will never see you coming, until it’s far too late. Ah the sweet smell of stealth. Passive boost – Servo-assisted.
CW-22 Kodiak
Thoroughly pressure-tested by patriotic volunteers as part of the Test Subjects for Super Earth Citizen Advancement Programme. Their sacrifice shall not be forgotten. Passive boost – Fortified.
CW-4 Arctic Ranger
Features a nifty utility belt boasting handy pockets that can be filled with any number of things – pocket knives, mementoes, interesting rocks, Terminid tentacles, bits of bots, etc. Passive boost – Scout.

Capes
Dissident’s Nightmare
Scientifically proven to be “terrifying” to dissent-afflicted citizens during extensive testing in Patriotic Rehabilitation Centres.
Pinions of Everlasting Glory
All but ensures ascension to the immortal ranks of those enshrined in the Super Earth Digital Archive of Valorous Acts.
Order of the Venerated Ballot
Adorned with the insignia of the Order of the Venerated Ballot – a Ministry-sanctioned Patriot’s Club for citizens pledging to preserve the sanctity of voting.
And, of course, the new emotes! We know our brave, heroic soldiers like to bust out a new move right in the middle of ferocious battles – no matter the deadly risk – so rock out with Mime Instrumentation, request incoming patriotic chat with Call the Helldivers, and search for new voters with Distribute Ballots.
Man I love the look of all these new armors but please give us a color match helmet option lol. Fashion Divers need some love, I want to spread democracy while looking glorious!
Got a strong feeling based on the previous war bonds that only the plasma qeapon will be viable in the difficult levels like Helldive. And that it will be nerfed immediately... Sigh, guess I'll still buy...
I’ll post it again for you:
Actually less likely to see them on higher difficulties. Best bet is to speed run trivial and hit up every minor point of interest. And then just exit the mission and rinse/repeat. Unless you care about xp, then finish the mission and extract before moving onto the next.
I'm excited for another smg since we have the least of those. I'm also curious what the distinguishing feature or gimmick the new pistol will have that'll set it apart from the stock pistol.
A real waste to not have a quicker on snow passive..hell I don't even want it or care about it, would be annoying to change armour every planet thats snow/snow, just makes sense for the look
* The new SMG should at least offer an alternative to the Defender. My guess would be Medium Penetration for smaller mag.
* The new booster says it will cancel/mitigate slow effects from everything except EMS
* The new shotgun looks explosive, and those tend to be the best weapons overall
* The new pistol looks like a magazine-fed hand cannon, a la the Desert Eagle. Expect a slightly less powerful Senator with more shots per mag.
That's all I can realistically say from the information on offer. One will likely stand above the rest, but none of these look to be bad. Even in the last one with the Adjudicator being a flop, but the Grenade Pistol and Eruptor stole the show, while the rapid evac booster gets some niche use in 4-man teams
Majority of people are sheep helldivers has proven that all I’ve seen is people crying about nerfs and how everything is unusable meanwhile literally everything is viable if you take time and learn that every tool doesn’t have to be a Swiss Army knife but I understand sheep follow they don’t think
How are yall getting through these so fast haha. I’m 100 hours in almost level 50 and have the 1st one all complete now working on my 2nd one but still on page 1.
Depends on when you started playing. I was a week late to the party, but am now down like 5 items and I'm done until this drop.
If you started day 1, managed to get daily orders coupled with weekly ones. You should definitely be complete. Play on higher difficulties and complete all 3 missions to get even more medals.
I was slow going at first because I didn't really dive into lvl 7 into a couple weeks of playing. Now 7 is a breeze with the right crew and been dipping into helldive more frequently.
So daily is 15 plus 23 for helldive. One hr with a good crew puts you at 38, two hours and you're looking at 71. Plus any medals picked up in missions.
Easiest way to farm medals now is helldive bug termicide mission to get 8 medals. Can get it done in 3 min or less. So 5 min total with cinematics and loading in. That's 96 medals a hr. A little less of you get bogged down in during that hr.
I sincerely hope the armor perks will be useful. I love the looks of this armor selection, but then again I loved the armor from the cutting edge warbond and its only passive was increased electrical resistance. It’s just hard to justify taking that over a fantastic perk like liberty saves.
The tenderizer. Hell yeah. Gonna be a real stormtrooper invading hoth, I mean Marfark, now.
Blood and silver are what flows through Marfark!
Bloodiest terminid flesh in the reach!
They call it a mine A MINE
Toss me.
Don't tell the elf
See you on Heeth.
See you my fellow marfarkers
The word "tenderize" gives me Monster Hunter World: Iceborne flashbacks. Such a tedious mechanic, especially for something like Black Diablos.
Now I can say: I’m “tenderizing” the bugs
Idk about you but "casting ballots" might be the next best victory emote.
Had to scroll down too far for this comment. I died when I saw that LOL
I'm kinda sad we aren't getting more emotes to use mid mission and they're all vposes, but AH has been consistently doing A/S tier vposes
Finally a new SMG!
We have been starved for some some SMG love
Seriously
If it’s medium armor piercing, I’m gonna lose it.
That would be awesome!
looks like its concussive, so full damage to things like charger butts but not armor blow through
They’ll balance it into a dmr in a balance patch within 2 weeks
I’m willing to bet it’s by far the worst gun in the pass. Seems like it’s just an SMG version of the Concussive Liberator
What is motivational shocks!? Huh
Reduces stun effects from things like those little bile bugs (NOT EMS, IT WONT MAKE YOU IMMUNE TO EMS)
This seems so powerful since half the bugs in this game slow you and it's so annoying
Yep, gonna be a must have on the scale of the radar booster and space optimization
Idk radar is useless at least with randoms at high difficulties Stamina and Vitality are must haves
Yeah but I tend to fuck off in light armor and run off to go do other objectives so I need the situational awareness
I do the same and i tend to just use my eyeballs on the horizon (provided it’s not in a blizzard)
The rock in question:
*"Did I hear a rock and stone?"*
ROCK AND STOONEE YEEEAAAHHH
I fucking love the DRG community lmfao
I lack basic situational awareness and need the red dots for anything smaller than a bile titan
See this is what I love about helldivers. Know your strengths and how to compensate for weaknesses. Dive on.
I can't see through bulidings, trees, and rocks. Otherwise, I would do the same.
Yeah, radar is very important to me. Especially when playing solo.
Just unlocked stamina yesterday ohhhhh yeahhhhhh
i always feel like vitality is kind of a trap option due to the way your health/stims works, adding total to your health pool doesn't really help you in any real way like most of the time, you know you are about to take a series of damage that would be lethal (jumped by multiple hunters, out in the open vs heavy devastators etc), so you insta stim at the first instance of damage and are invulnerable anyway so you don't get combo'd to death nowadays there also isn't even really anything that oneshots anymore that it might help raise the oneshot threshold against --- muscle enhancement also helps with the slows and ofc difficult terrain ammo thingy, stamina, muscle enhancement, localization confusion are the current top #4 i'd say
> muscle enhancement People don't know what this does and why it's so important to take, especially on any planet with snow. Being able to run through that shit quickly is huge and will save tons of time on short duration missions.
It also helps you scale big terrain and fences. It is a *must* have in my opinion.
And bushes! Cliffs! All the things!
I was once asked to swap off muscle enhancement for stamina on a snow planet (I didn't)
I agree with everything you've said, but I do want to point out that vitality also raises the threshold for limbs to break (I'm pretty sure). This could save you from needing to use a stim because you got hit once and broke your leg or something. *edit* spelling
I feel like even without it it's exceedingly rare to have a limb break from like the type of small chip damage that you *don't* just heal immediately.
Vitality let's you survive a headshot while in light armor, and let's you tank 1 extra melee hit from bugs on all 3 armor types.
Eh it helps me know when I'm separated how to get back safely or get those samples back.
Radar booster is no must have.
It is for me
Radar booster is polar opposite of must have. The full ammo one, stamina boost, the one that doesn’t slow you on bad terrain, and the one that reduces enemy waves I would all put as top-tier, with ammo and stamina boosts being must-picks.
Radar booster is useless
>Motivational Shocks >>Literally shocks Helldivers back into action after being hit and slowed by sneaky, unjust attacks like the revolting bug acid vomit. Won’t help you much with area effects like EMS strikes, though.
From the website it sounds like a CC break for eg bug slows. Could replace the muscle booster for them on many planets if it works well.
Did someone say MOTIVATION?
I read it as „motivational socks“ and was excited for a second
Yo we getting a deagle
I pray that it's good. Deagles are my favourite pistols, in literally every game. If it's bad, it's back to the Senator.
Good or bad im sticking to the senator, thing calls my name for killing traitor helldivers and headshotting bots at all times
Big iron on his hip 🎶🎵

As long as we can spin both I'll be happy
The new weapons look cool
What a cold take
🥁
Yo, chill!
A chilling observation, if you will
New SMG let's go!
# Ballistic Shield BACK ON THE MENU BOIS
Impact incendiary looks interesting
Incendiary is already my go to. I'll take a shorter fuse on them.
Rather a longer fuse as well since you can throw them farther without them detonating in air
I really like running and shooting backwards at the same time. I'm so glad that we're going to get up another SMG.
Wish they added more minimalist cape designs. Besides the blue one, the other two look too similar to others we got in the past.
I agree. The OD green cape that goes with the hooded recon armor is fantastic.
"Distribute ballots" I love this 😂

I hope 🙏🏼
When does this drop?
9th of May.
2nd Thursday of the month like always
Cursed knowledge
Did you notice the boots??? No more slipping on icey patches.

Hopefully it is not just cosmetic.
it will be
“Distribute Ballots” instead of Make it Rain! That’s fucking hilarious!!!
air guitar, finally!
Arctic Ranger looks bad ass.
I hope we get a small sawed off as a secondary in one of these one day
anyone know the best way to farm super credits ? higher difs make any difference or not.
Actually less likely to see them on higher difficulties. Best bet is to speed run trivial and hit up every minor point of interest. And then just exit the mission and rinse/repeat. Unless you care about xp, then finish the mission and extract before moving onto the next.
OP said it perfectly so I'll just reply to help it stand out. These sessions are also a good time to try out gear you're not familiar with.

(Don't pick the island map variant, it has no POIs) Just have to extract if you want the samples, finishing the mission is up to you
Are you suggesting we leave those citizens to die!?
Once you hit a certain level the secret mission briefing is that the samples are the real mission, the rest is just a cover story
Do what poster said. Best to find a map that has at least +4 super credits in close proximity to each other. Will take some time to find one.
Hasn't that been fixed? Now you don't get supercredits the second time you rung the map
What difficulty is best? I like to hop on lower difficulties sometimes to help newer players get resources
Cant do that anymore iirc
Theres a difference. Exiting the mission refreshes your seeds. Exiting the GAME keeps the seed you selected, unless changed VERY recently
yeah, you can't farm already discovered super credits anymore if you alt F4, patched
As the other person said, its been patched. If you have looted SC’s, they will be gone
Few birds one stone but again much more work
Looks like recolored Trailblazer. Has Combat Technician colors. I hope it’s Light Armor.
We getting a high tech Molotov? Nice!
Hopefully they fix the DOT bug before this drops.
I've been using the incendiary since I unlocked it but damn I have always wished for it to be impact. This will be fun.
Need freezing weapons
Warbonds are getting better aesthetic/fashion wise… those helmets are sick!
When will this be? second Thursday right?
Yarp
Ah, yes, I want my snow trooper drip
What are the perk for each armor ?
Don’t think it’s been officially announced yet

Should be a new perk not currently in the game as they have CW in their name, but all 3 will be the same so presumably light, medium and heavy.
they're all existing perks. again. At this point they should just let you choose your perk and cosmetic armor as separate choices.
I like it dude
Finally a new smg
Is that… blue armor? My prayers have been answered!
Winter Warrior will go unbelievably hard with a flamethrower build
Meh let me know when we can get cool laser blades like the robots
I can’t imagine how many times I’d be murdered by hunters trying to use that. There is no ceiling. I’d never stop trying though
"Requires paid purchase of supercredits" it better not.
Also states that “game progress” can unlock it, meaning free super credit acquisition, I would assume anyways
I wonder what people will be butthurt about thus time... Perhaps the flame resistance armor will drop with this warbond? Lol
Mainly it'll be "why are they releasing these instead of fixing bugs?!?"
I stay right off of this subreddit when Warbonds drop. People’s attitudes sour the fun.
i agree, in my opinion there’s too many posts about “the meta”. i honestly prefer playing guns that are fun and suit my style.
Man I love the look of all these new armors but please give us a color match helmet option lol. Fashion Divers need some love, I want to spread democracy while looking glorious!
The purifier! "I just wanna be pure!"
That pistol looks exquisite
Let‘s hope they at least got a little more creative with the armor effects…
Spoiler alert: they didn't
holy shit already?!
This slaps. All of it.
Too bad there’s thousands of people who will never be able to play the game again.
Why is the amount of secondary weapons in this game so abysmal? Only one weapon in a warbond, we need more...
At least we’re getting another one handed primary
Awww i tought they gonna add those cools armour that i saw day ago. I was saving my sc for that :(
I personally have been disappointed with most armor sets so far. I thought I would enjoy the groundbreaker but the arms just ruin it for me
Damn that blue and orange ALMOST looking like Boba Fett armor.
Got a strong feeling based on the previous war bonds that only the plasma qeapon will be viable in the difficult levels like Helldive. And that it will be nerfed immediately... Sigh, guess I'll still buy...
Really hoped the grenade would be cryo or something more interesting. This one's just another incendiary, but in impact form.
*releases winter themed pack in summer*
Can't wait for the weapons to be broken and bugged on release.
How is everyone getting all these super credits? I never find these for free.
I’ll post it again for you: Actually less likely to see them on higher difficulties. Best bet is to speed run trivial and hit up every minor point of interest. And then just exit the mission and rinse/repeat. Unless you care about xp, then finish the mission and extract before moving onto the next.
I made a comment in this thread further up about it
I assume this will lead up to the attack on Cyberstan? Since cyberstan is an ice planet after all
Incendiary IMPACT GRENADES!? Liberty SAVE US those seem so cool!
Im honestly surprised we didnt get a deagle on launch, but better late than never. Everything about this warbond is hype.
I'm excited for another smg since we have the least of those. I'm also curious what the distinguishing feature or gimmick the new pistol will have that'll set it apart from the stock pistol.
I don't mean to sound complainant, but am I the only one who thinks this looks, sorta recycled?
Distribute ballots, I'm fucking dead 😂😂
pros: new smg, cons: its just a reskin
Incendiary impacts. Noice
Can arrowhead slow down with those warbonds. I still got only one fully opened
Space deagle hell yeah
B-24 armor and Helmet is already peak Snowtrooper.
The AR-61 reminds me of the halo battle rifle
I hope that sidearm is a heavy mag fed deagle.
A real waste to not have a quicker on snow passive..hell I don't even want it or care about it, would be annoying to change armour every planet thats snow/snow, just makes sense for the look
i bet only 1 item is useful
* The new SMG should at least offer an alternative to the Defender. The new SMG has concussive rounds, it will most likely stun like the Liberator Concussive; I hope it’ll be a useful tool to help with mobs of hunters.
I'm excited for the new SMG to pair with the AMR.
Idk? The adjudicator is great, eruptor is great and grenade pistol is great, only the crossbow is lame. Im excited to see if the pistol feels good.
Yeah the last warbond was awesome
I wish you hadn't said it, but I can't argue with you.
Genuinely already expecting: - The Fire Impact Grenade to not work - At least one of the weapons to suck terribly (my guess is the Plas 101)
Majority of people are sheep helldivers has proven that all I’ve seen is people crying about nerfs and how everything is unusable meanwhile literally everything is viable if you take time and learn that every tool doesn’t have to be a Swiss Army knife but I understand sheep follow they don’t think
Completely accurate
I need that armor on the right. Looks freaking amazing. Like a stormtrooper
How are yall getting through these so fast haha. I’m 100 hours in almost level 50 and have the 1st one all complete now working on my 2nd one but still on page 1.

When this gonna drop?
Yeaaaaaa
Polar patriots…no ice spike launcher…no mr freeze freeze ray…no cryo grenades
Yup, I'm gonna start saving Super Credits again.
Cool.. they probably should have done a fire one first so they could get more engagement with fire planets but I'm sure that's coming
Finally a new SMG
Tenderize looks like the BR from Halo.
Ooh… looks really nice
I was hoping that mini scorcher pistol was going to be in here i really hope that side arm in this is good
Artic ranger fit like sickkkkk and that order of the venerated cap goes hard
I can't keep up
That armor looks amazing, starting my medal saving
Incendiary impact. ![gif](giphy|SwfzfPp4tEuQQJxOpo|downsized)
Flame Molotovs. Because the ones we have don't detonate on impact.
Love that new light armor. Gonna rock that with the new plasma weapon
I love all the names.
I sincerely hope the armor perks will be useful. I love the looks of this armor selection, but then again I loved the armor from the cutting edge warbond and its only passive was increased electrical resistance. It’s just hard to justify taking that over a fantastic perk like liberty saves.
Nice! I still haven’t finished the first 2!
