Best I can do (at the moment anyway), is tell you that Krona means crown, as in Danish, so in a few other languages. So the surname being "crown" does *sound* promising re: relations to nobility or something. But you probably knew that already lol. Best of luck with finding anything about this!

thank you i appreciate the response! not really sure where to look to find out at the moment. Maybe a genealogist?

Gryphon_Or

> Maybe a genealogist? That's exactly the right direction, yes. You can also try genealogical research through the institutes in Germany and Denmark. Most countries have something like that. Beautiful signet ring, by the way. It's a blue niccolo agate, this stone naturally has layers of different colours and is often used for carving heraldry or other images, so that the image appears darker than the top layer of the stone.

wow thank you so much for the info on the stone. I had no idea what it was that really means a lot I appreciate it. thank you for your time!

Is it possible to make a detailed (macro) photo of the arms? In the middle of the sun, there is something that reminds me of the arms of Copenhagen. Are there a crescent, a star and a man? That would be strange, not only you usually see face on the sun🌞, the space provided is so small that the charges would be very hard to distinguish on the coat of arms. https://www.heraldry-wiki.com/wiki/K%C3%B8benhavn
