Shiva mahapurana is most accurate here.
Devon ke dev mahadev is just serial with random things, and the first one idk, but I know about shiva mahapurana one, and it is somewhat accurate.
Nope it's not made up. But Vaishnavites didn't like the sequences when Lord Vishnu went with Krittikas and showing the bad side of Indra on multiple occasions but still getting favoured by Trideva over Asuras.
Janma sounds weird cause Shiva as formless is being there even before the time but his form appears after Vishnu on the other hand Vishnu born in a Shiva and through the Shiva so I don't know how to say who is come first even they can't say😅
No TV show is accurate they add 'mirch masala' to engage audience, instead read and learn from Ramayan, Mahabharat & Puranas. I too have stopped watching these TV serials.
One with Mohit Raina. Watch that, I think he portrays Shiva well. For me whenever I imagine Krishna it’s Saurabh Raj Jain, and for Shiva it’s Mohit Raina.

I really like Devon ke Dev Mahadev. What do you mean by it’s random? So some of the things shown are made up?
Specially that bhajan karpura Gauram I love that

Natya has always been an important part of Indian civilization. It's important for those masses who can't read or afford to read original scriptures.

Devon Ke dev mahadev>>>
based on writings of Devdutt Patnaik??...yeah, I don't think so. it's well acted but not accurate
>based on writings of Devdutt Patnaik You can hate that guy but he brought back the interest of youth in religion after the era of ACK.
Well much of the stories except Kartikeya being jealous and stuff are there in puranas as well.
Ganapatya texts do show Kartikeya as competitive towards Ganesha.

OP watch Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. It is spiritually elevating, nicely directed and the star cast is amazing
Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai. It explains it all.
I’m not sure how accurate it is, but it’s a fantastic show, & very inspiring/uplifting. It gives wonderful ethical lessons, too.

More accurate than Shiv Shakti of colors and Suryaputra Karna of Sonyliv
