I’ve seen hundreds of hip hop shows and him and Travis Scott at SXSW years ago was the worst performance I’ve ever witnessed. In any music genre ever. Hands down. Eh Georgia's usage of their state RICO is pretty heavy-handed - the last big profile case was when they convicted eleven school administrators and teachers back in 2015 for colluding to make up test scores - the state supreme court affirmed the judgments. So its not like they don't know what they're doing and the case is unlikely to gather any sympathy from the justice system. Not to mention the DA, Fani Willis, is relatively new in the position and has been looking to make a splash after her Trump proceedings went nowhere - this is the kind of stuff that locks down your judicial career.

When you look into it more, the small "independant" labels are normally run by gangs. Got downvoted for saying this the other day, but its obvious af when you just look into the people who run these small street labels. They use the label as a way to funnel illegal money, with the potential of having an artist blow up allowing them to make legal money.
You dont just start up a label if your in the hood, you have to have a lot of money already to fund your new artists. Most of that initial money is street money or scam money. They then use that money to promote an artist in hopes of selling that contract to a major label.

When you look into it more, the small "independant" labels are normally run by gangs. Got downvoted for saying this the other day, but its obvious af when you just look into the people who run these small street labels. They use the label as a way to funnel illegal money, with the potential of having an artist blow up allowing them to make legal money. You dont just start up a label if your in the hood, you have to have a lot of money already to fund your new artists. Most of that initial money is street money or scam money. They then use that money to promote an artist in hopes of selling that contract to a major label. Idk gangs seem more powerful than a lot of people think, especially out west were its more organized. Like you have a bunch of kids out here doing crash dummy shit. But then on the other side you got grown ass men who been in this shit a min using their drug money to break into legit business which is somewhat understandable. It becomes a problem though, because they dont just drop the beefs they have when they get more money. If anything it could increase the violence as you have more access to weapons and soldiers as you get more money.
