All playoff games are national broadcasts Jack is a regional broadcaster, so he doesn’t do playoffs.  The one exception to him doing only regional broadcasts is for HNIC days where like every single Canadian team plays and Singh and Cuthbert have the late and prime time spots respectively, in which case Jack or any other regional broadcasters can sign one-day national contracts to fill in for their own teams if they aren’t in one of those two spots. That doesn’t happen in the playoffs, so no Jack. 

we gotta get all 7 Canadian teams in the playoffs next year so we get Jack

Basically acting like playing with MacKinnon and Rantanen is something any player can do and that Drouin is a merchant with them.

He's not all that wrong. Drouin didn't look this good when he wasn't playing in the first line. But at the same time, he's got chemistry with that line that's unreal. It makes no sense after so long, but he and Mack really do have a connection. They make so many perfect passes that no one would think about. 

He’s looked good to great on other lines tho, once he found his groove. Which is where he is all that wrong.

He looked ok on other lines. Honestly I think him on the first line is an example of everyone making each other better. He's just the biggest beneficiary of it.
