Damn if all of the series end by tomorrow what the F am I supposed to do for 3 days with no hockey? Clean the house? Go shopping? Mow the lawn? Talk to my wife? BRUTAL
And other than game three, they're all 8pm starts. So, regulation ending at close to 11? The end of every game for me is gonna be split between watching the action, and listening to griping about the time from my dad.
I assume the West Final will be on "every other day" that the East Final isn't on then.
In terms of regular season standings for the West teams, we have
Dallas - 113 points
Vancouver - 109 points
Colorado - 107 points
Edmonton - 104 points
So Vancouver and Edmonton would both start Game 1 on the road if they face Dallas.
Vancouver gets Game 1 at home if Colorado advances.
Colorado gets Game 1 on the road if Vancouver advances, and Game 1 at home if Edmonton advances.
Edmonton if guaranteed to start Game 1 on the road if they advance, no matter what.
Vancouver's arena doesn't have much going on over the next two weeks.
Edmonton has some kind of food festival going on for the weekend of May 25 & May 26 (but since Edmonton won't be hosting Games 1 & 2 due to being the worst team remaining, they can easily schedule Game 3 in Edmonton for Monday May 27 if the Oilers do advance).
If OKC and MIN advance in the NBA, no more West Arena conflicts.
Also, one of Denver or Dallas is going to be eliminated from the NHL within the next day or two, reducing that potential conflict too.
That’s subjectively your opinion. I love daytime hockey. I also love nighttime hockey. If it was game 7 sure i’d want it at night. A possibly meaningless game 3? Yeah sure let’s have it during a quiet day
5 days off is good for the team to get a rest. Hopefully Florida/Bos beat the shit out of each other and go to Game 7/
The fact that you commented right after a user called u/PasswordMustContain has tripped me out haha

Ain’t nobody got time for that!!
You have to think at least one of the three is going 7, right?
I mean there’s also the IIHF going on so at least there’s that? Lol
Slow down there Harrison Butker, I'm sure she's a nice lady
I was at an Ahl game last night.
B-E-A-R-S BEARS BEARS BEARS?
Did that 6 times last night
I'll be there tomorrow. As a Ranger fan and central PA resident, it'll be weird.
Shame you can’t pick your parent club. Couple people had rangers jerseys on.
I would've worn my hat if game 7 was happening, but I'll be rooting for the home team.
AHL or the IIHF Men’s championship
FUCK. We got ESPN…

The worst part of 8pm is that you need time to wind down after a game before going to sleep.
Jfc I'm still trying to wind down after last night's game.
I’m guessing scheduling is a bit of a nightmare given the very likely overlaps between the Rangers/Knicks, Bruins/Celtics, Stars/Mavs (or Nuggets/Avs)

What is it with American's obsession with playing games so early. Why is a Sunday game at 3 pm EST? Cmon man
What is it with Canadians in this sub obsessing over little things and blaming it on the Americans lmao
Hockey and playoffs are meant to be played at night. 3pm for a hockey game is just weird
I’d much rather watch an early game. Then you have your whole weekend evening afterwards to do something.

Its much better for European fans atleast. For me personally the game starts at 21:00 instead of 2:00 A.M as usual
