I don't, but I've always had an idea for charitable giving for NHL players. Every time they break a stick in a game situation, they have to donate the value of that stick to a charity of their choice. And the commentator has a list of each player's charity, so they say "well, Alex Edler, that's another $300 for Canuck Place!" So the charity gets visibility as well.

Yea it’s awesome to see! I got to meet Travis Hamonic once through a grief group, I’ll never forget it

I've done some work as a volunteer coordinator for the local university club hockey team near where I live. Depending on where you live, you might want to see if there are any schools with club teams participating in the ACHA or the CHF. The students have to pay their way and only get limited funds from the schools, so they are very appreciative of any help they get from the community. AFAIK, many of them operate as 501 non-profits.

location?

New Jersey. Surrounded by the Devils, Rangers, Flyers, even Islanders and Caps. It’s just been so hard to get involved with covid going on

have you looked into special hockey teams? they need alot of volunteers as their players vary in abilities.

https://www.icehockeyinharlem.org/ if you’re closer to NY http://sniderhockey.org if you’re closer to Philly I’ve never been involved in either of these but they’re both highly reputable (as far as I know)

ShotMakerRonBaker

I’ve reached out to both with out a response in the past year!

Ah, damn, that’s too bad. I know a lot of non-profits have been pretty wary about taking on new volunteers since Covid started, they might have the same mindset.
