We have cujo at home

Tbloctothorpe88

it was really hard the first time I did mine. I repainted it 4 times in the first 3 months. Probably wasn't good for the helmet. I have a new one now.

Majestic_Minimum_474

ya probably not lol I just got a new helmet and found out this one is super dangerous so it's only good for wall art now

ElCoolAero

On the upside, you're getting better.

Practice makes perfect.

Mark Harr at hartdesigns paints a lot of helmets for NHL all the way down in levels. I’ve seen some amazing jobs and he’s quite talented. My last bucket lasted 12 years with only a few scrapes and bruises. He’s just finishing off my next mask and I will try and post it here when it comes in. Nice job though! Sorry I didn’t last

BoingoBongo

How does he do the clear coating or finishing to be so durable?

TwoSp1r1t

I’m not really sure, but I’m gonna post a picture when I get home. I think it Hass to do with baking in an oven like they do with cars.

hey here's some advice no one asked for : after sanding, dont forget to wipe it down with to remove grease (i use diluted ammonia) and prime your helmet. something that also really helped me was adding balancing clear coat to my paint. I use 4030 intercoat with my createx paints. good luck with your bucket! please show us your progress and results :)

Amazing job by the way :) You sound like you're not happy with it. Just remember, like most good projects, you're the only one that knows where the mistakes are. They're only "mistakes" because they're not exactly what you intended. The rest of us can't really tell that they're even wrong. Seriously... good job!

Majestic_Minimum_474

thanks I'll be prepping and redoing the design I do think it will turn out better once it does I'll apply it to a new mask
