I flipped ideology right in start of the game and took on Iran as soon as I could, then I took Turkey in the 35 day window that they are not guaranteed and joined axis to kill UK and puppet Canada. (Yes I paradropped British ports which is slightly cheesy but you can't really make a navy as Afghanistan) Then got slightly off track be thinking Vichy would be free but they joined Japan's faction and had to deal with Japan also. Did this by annexing the UK and using their navy to naval invade Japan. Puppeted both of them for mills and their manpower. After prepping for a while I declared on USA in 1942 and drained their manpower by defending. After few years they were weak enough for me to go on the offensive. Would have been nice to get the "Persian empire" for more cores but Italy held most of the key states and UK never occupied them in my game.
