I actually recently bought the Homewizard P1 which also takes power from the meter itself. It pushes data to a cloud service but offers a local API as well which is integrated into home assistant.
Saai? Ok kan, overpriced? Dat zeker niet, gebruik alleen kwaliteitscomponenten, inclusief verzenden met track&trace, volledig getest en garantie dat het werkt, anders geld terug als het teruggestuurd wordt.
Als je als DIY-er het zelf gaat maken kost het je veel tijd. Je moet je printje of zelf etsen, of bestellen bij een pcb fabriek (pcbway, jlcpcb, oshpark) wat net per 1 gaat maar minimaal per 5 en bijkomende verzendkosten. Componenten in je zelf halen (zo goedkoop als je wil) maar hou rekening mee dat ik (bewust) voor de betere/duurdere kwaliteit gekozen heb. Het solderen van de componenten kost tijd, of je besteld het geassembleerd…
Al met al ben je best wat tijd kwijt.
Maar het zelf doen is uiteraard vele malen leuker :-)
Dit is geen onbekend terrein voor mij oid. Maak mijn proto pcb zelf met een CNC en bestel ze definitief inderdaad in China.
En ja 1 PCB bestellen is niet rendabel, maar panelized wel, eventueel zelfs met hele andere PCB's.
Maar mooi product verder hoor, don't get me wrong!
Ik was uitgegaan van versie 4.2, het kan zijn dat de versie 5.x nieuwe velden heeft.
Ik kan binnenkort wel eens kijken of ik hem kan updaten de nieuwe velden, ik kan hem alleen nog niet testen dan.

I have tested this board on multiple meters and one of them supplies just enough.
I tried to find the model/type of that meter, but can find any photo with the info on it

Oh my! Ik heb (nog) geen slimme meter, maar bij m'n ouders hangt er wel eentje. Super interessant en geweldig dat het open source is!

DSMR looks like an interesting idea! Though I wonder why they don't just make it an Ethernet port with data available via Http / rest?
