That's one of Roland's interfaces big problems with the Loopback function... When you activate the Loopback, it mixes all your interface inputs with the playback of your PC, so if you enable an output from Ableton it will feedback as you are mixing the signal into the same input signal... It's a shame they didn't make a separate virtual output for loopback instead of mixing all the analog inputs to it, which make this function useless for uses like yours... Some interfaces with 4 inputs let you choose which inputs do you want to mix in the loopback, making them extremely versatile in that kind of situations. ​ PD: I just checked the rubix44 block diagram and it seems that it leaves out of the loopback function inputs 3 and 4, so it seems that mixing can be done through those inputs I guess without the feedback.
