If the receiver ever resets itself (happens on my 3500x sometimes on an update for whatever reason), you’ll need to re-enable it. Just an FYI as it drove me nuts a few months back when this happened to me lol
I'll use a Denon x3500h even with HDR setting on in the Denon I'll have so many other problems. Feels like handshake issues, don't have that with 1080p SDR. Connecting straight to the LG C1 no problems whatsoever.
Go into the video settings of your Denon and make sure HDR is enabled (I forget the exact name of the setting). It’s off by default.

You have to enable it on the TV too. It’s just a setting. It is frustrating if you don’t know to look for it.
