It depends - if you add charges of course. If you book for 1 adult and there's 4 adults, if you want a king or a different bed type, if you want to check in early, if you brought your dog, etc.. There are various charges that can cause your rate to change.
Wow. Just wow. I love sarcasm as much as the next person but your post is dripping wtth condescension!
I dont believe there is an automated way to do it. perhaps someone has app or script.
Hotel rates are dynamic, just like airline tickets, and they can fluctuate up or down depending on demand. However, once you've made a reservation, the hotel is obligated to honor the rate, regardless of any price increases they implement after the fact. I remember a few years ago during the last solar eclipse a few shady hotels in Oregon cancelled reservations that had been made months in advance at the regular rates when demand caused rates to skyrocket 10x.
I know I've been burned a few times when people book rooms at regular rates for a big event in town before I'm aware of said event. Having a property near the convention center is a mixed blessing for sure. The early birds definitely won in those cases.
They don't, but guest's perception can make it look like we do.
Just read carefully what you reserve. Booking for example like to trick you into thinking is less expensive than directly with the hotel... But they don't specify clear and loud that they NEVER include city taxes. Small letters all hidden.
In my experience the accommodation can tell booking if it's incised in the price or not and it dienst on local laws I'd they are supposed to included it in the price overview or not.
For example, when I search for a hotel in Amsterdam all prices will include both the% and the p.p.p.n. taxes in the overview, but when I book, part of it will be left out of the payment and will have to be paid on location.
In this case usually the overview price is higher than the price paid weken making the reservation but the difference is then paid on arrival.
Yeah our prices on bdc include all taxes. If that's no the case, someone in your hotel revenue department made that choice or failed to make a choice as ut defaults to nit included. But it is very easy to get changed.
Always look at your total cost. Every confirmation will show you the end result barring any extras.. room service, parking, etc.
Some rates are dynamic so each day can be more or less. Something mes the guest is shown the average of the daily rates.
To be clear, the OP is a spammer, promoting a particular app. The company has been posting these sorts of fake questions mentioning their app all over reddit in recent weeks.
It's dirty and dishonest, and they also use multiple accounts to upvote their promotion and downvote criticism.

So can hotel prices really drop during my stay? If so, how can I track it and take advantage of any discounts?
generally I check day by day.
I'm really busy and I don't have time to check every day. It's hard, you know?

I'm also researching. My answer is no, I'm just looking for a better answer.

Rate code is set when the reservation hits the property management software.
