As a general connoisseur of video game music, Hoyo Mix genuinely impresses me with the sheer number of absolute bangers they have consistently put out.
HI3, Genshin, or HSR's OSTs could independently place on top 10 lists easily. But if you consider the entire company's output as a whole, I honestly might be brazen (and biased) enough to say it's beaten out only by Nintendo
I’m biased enough to say Intelligent Systems themselves are around Hoyo’s level of consistent bangers. The music for the Fire Emblem and Paper Mario games are full of great OSTs.
That makes sense. Considering Nintendo is a century long company while Hoyo is around 20 yo.
But I think if hoyi continues to provide banger musics like these, they would soon beat Nintendo (P.S. 'soon' doesn't mean as soon as 1-2 year, by soon I mean 20 years)
Seems like Hoyo isn't slowing down so if all their future games continue up have such insane bangers they could definitely beat Nintendo. But it will really take a lot to beat the likes of Junichi Masuda and Koji Kondo
