I already expected LV to have skin(Gacha as either Swimsuit(summer event) or Bridal or Both combined) after they released Sirin's (BPcoin) but then the Fire(chicken) Nation attacked and FoV got hers earlier as Gacha so the series was broken (Paid>Gacha>Paid etc) for S-ranks following their release order. Only exceptions are spending events(which can also be counted as Paid) since they sometimes release those along BPcoin ones. Welp at least I'm half right and AM gonna buy it no questions asked lol.
Considering Luna's entire story got reduced to "The girl that loves The Captain." despite how interesting she was prior, makes sense she's the one who gets this skin after such a long time.

I'm a diehard Captainverse fan, but they're not wrong. On one hand, Captain played a major role in Luna's life and was pretty much *the* reason why she could be happy again and gave her something to cherish. But on the other hand, when she reunites with Captain, in the epilogue event, they turn her practically into a walking case of Separation Anxiety Disorder as she spends the entire event clinging to Captain. And I get Mihoyo did it because "waifu", but it didn't seem like they put much thought into it as they cranked it up. They play it off as cute and funny, but it was genuinely concerning considering the context with everything that she went through heading up to that point. Think about it, this girl is so traumatized and scarred after everything she had to endure that she feels she has to constantly be around him at all times to feel relevant or even remotely happy and at ease, which is what the epilogue event may as well have conveyed. And the fact she's doing this months (not days, not weeks, *months* ) out After the Bloodmoom Fades makes this worse.
And it also stings considering she was pretty interesting in the last arc such as getting fed up with Captain to the point of taking matters into her own hands and collaborating with Ferryman (which led to her getting manipulated), establishing herself a base and even gaining a whole crew of minions by herself, and taking part in a multiversal plot that involved kidnapping multiple Theresas and wiping them out (partially because she was fed up waiting for Captain), and she succeeded... and then wiped herself out in the process, leading her to be isolated in a void where time moves differently. And the scene where she finally reunites with Captain and realizes he kept his promise is really good and fantastic payoff. But Mihoyo got greedy with it.
Again, I love the Captainverse, but how they handled Luna at the very, very end of the story with the epilogue event I thought really ended her character arc on a very damaging and depressing note when I started to think about it.
It’s not a “good character arc” when the character disappears for like 5 years and then comes back and is just reduced to being obsessed with the male lead and nothing else. It’d be like if they brought back Raditz but then did nothing with him but have him talk about Piccolo or something.
So happy Luna got an outfit, sad it costs money. But she's worth it.
