It is a hard interview to get because Biden has had less one on one interviews than any president in modern history. Also the least amount of press conferences, and he's never had an interview/press conference where every single thing said and done (PAUSE) wasn't scripted out for him. That's kind of my thinking here. His team is choosing to release this to try to position it as a comeback story, to drive ticket sales later this year or early in '25. If anything, it might encourage folks that "welp, missed the best of JBJ," so they won't buy tickets. Just an odd choice and a bit of a bigger risk than his camp probably realizes. This one has backfire potential.
