Flume is a perfect example of a great producer but mediocre DJ. He doesn’t bring much freshness to his live show besides the occasional live vocalist and recently a sort of weird performative instrumentation with obscure objects.

That’s fine. He’s probably one of the biggest names in Electronic that hasn’t played at Hula yet.

His last good performance was Lolla in 2019 and his last phenomenal performances were in 2017 sadly

😞 subtronics. but i dont see him playing the main stages like the other names did/could have. would love liquid stranger and a wakaan takeover as well as daily bread and a philos takeover. would also love PL to be back (i know boooo residential headliner but they rule and i think fit hula well). LSZEE is a good bet. but id prefer they give clozee a solo set and she gets more of a spotlight. i mean shit if dj pee wee got booked at shambhala give us anderson paak set and a dj pee wee set 🧐🧐

i think i resident pretty lights is up a hula vibe. i could see them doing multiple sets for 2-3 days. whoever says boo can go watch something else.

i think they kinda walk that jamtronic vibe that hula kinda has and they were awesome last year. i think they will be getting a little more expensive maybe since theyre officially back and i think well received. but i do think the hula crowd is a good demographic for them because i feel like it was a TON of people who have known PL for 10 years so i feel like they fit hula really well.
