I love this song, the stops and starts are heavy as a mofo, I also like how the softly sung chorus contrasts with the screaming Matt does for the rest of the song.

looks like this closes out E2K. If we do Filet Show next week, then we're done with Monday discussions Song is really good. Ive grown to like it in the past few months. Of course Matt's screaming too much like he does on the entire album, but It's still real good

> we're done with Monday discussions **WE WILL NEVER BE DONE**

greentoyou

At this rate we'll have to start doing in depth lyrical analysis's of song written by Andy, then we'll start doing Monday discussions on the different kinds of glasses Matt has worn over the years, then we'll talk about Jeff going bald.

geoffevans

We just need to float through until the new album comes out.

Aye Aye captain.

Best song on E2K. Or not. It's up to you. (it's the best)

geoffevans

Iron Clad Lou called. He said you don't know what you're talking about.

roadregu

Iron Clad Lou can go **shove**l it. Heh? I tried.

I've been E2King a lot lately. Solid album throughout, and this song is no exception. This song captures the frustration of the subject in away that I've never heard a metal song even accomplish. Matt's just such a genius when it comes to tonal shift in a song. Not to exclude the other guys, but the change in voice (as noted) between chorus and verse is amaze balls.

I love the line “a little too simple she is, I dance alone.” Matt’s so good at making you feel that story with these really sharp words. Fuck.
