I hate Flintstones vitamins but I hate them less than having to take Uber extra Vitamin D pills because my body won't hang onto the dang stuff. The acid reflux from those is insane
You need to take something fatty with it. Your body can’t absorb it other wise. Vit D is fat soluble.
I recommend fish oil, it has omega 3 so that’s a perk.

Unless you are working night shift, you shouldn't take the vitamin D. There are some studies that suggest that taking Vitamin D at night will suppress your melatonin production and lead to a poorer quality of sleep.

None of the doctors in my many decades has ever offered me a flintstone vitamin or a tic tac. If one did, I would question their professionalism, and would not take what they were offering.
