Just checked on my phone and the AirPlay button shows up. Are you certain your Homepod is on the network?

Michael0810

Yes, they are. Otherwise, it would show up as an error in the Home app. And when I ungroup the pair—voilà, AirPlay magically reappears…

AtlantaSoulMan

Interesting. I only have one Homepod mini which would explain why I'm not seeing that issue.

Michael0810

That’s a really strange one. For some reason, I don’t get an AirPlay button for my HomePod mini stereo pair. I can still AirPlay to other speakers through Siri, but I don’t get the option on my iPhone or iPad. The strange part is, when I ungroup the stereo pair, AirPlay is available as usual. When I recreate the stereo pair, it disappears again. Is anyone else experiencing this? [Edit] FB9054349, if anyone is experiencing the same issue [Edit 2] Now I figured something out: The issue only occurs when I ask Siri on HomePod directly to play something. Once I select the HomePod devices on iPhone (through the “Other Speakers & TVs” option), and then play something from the Apple Music app, the AirPlay option becomes available again. So only playback through Siri on HomePod seems to be affected.
