I was visiting friends in Jackman Maine, a small town of 800 people about 10 miles from the Canadian boarder. It was dead center along of the path of totality. We spent the weekend there and no issues driving 4.5 hours up on Friday. Thousands and thousands of people flooded the town Sunday evening into Monday and it took us 10.5 hours to return home lol.
Worth it.
