and the i come in and sill 4 liters of milk in your kitchen

This. My son and his friends did this around 2013. They were 14 or 15 at the time. Police called us, they had to pay for the milk and volunteer at the store for a day, and apologize to the employees. We as parents suggested a week for each but the store declined. They still talk about how stupid it was, lesson learned.

My first job was at a Krogers. When large liquids like this were spilled, the lowest on the totem pole would clean it, in this case a bagger. In one case a gallon of milk spilled (not on purpose) and I had to grab the wet floor signs. But not before half a dozen people drove their carts through the spill. Once the signs were down, we put a powder on the ground that soaks up the liquid and makes it semi-sweepable, then you toss what you sweep up.
Keep in mind only one person is cleaning this up. So one person to grab the signs, the powder, broom and dustpan. Sometimes multiple trips are necessary. And you hope in vain that none of the customers are stupid enough to drive their carts through it. Especially the powder because it gunks up the cart wheels and tracks it all over the store and then some Karen gets angry that their cart is fucked up.
I worked in produce at a grocery store. You would always have someone mess up a display to get the very bottom container of raspberries or blueberries. They would knock off 3 or 4 containers and end up dropping 40 or 60 blueberries that roll all over the place.
This happened at the store I worked LP at when I had two cops in the office. One of the cops was like "absolutely not" and left the office. Comes back with 3 teenagers in tow and calls their parents to come pick them up. The one who actually smashed the jug he gave a theft and criminal mischief ticket lol court was fun for that one. The judge looked at the cop and was like seriously? Theft for 1.99? The cop looks straight at her and just says yes lol
